That's just some fan picking a number he thinks is appropriate though. Also, like many CM fans, I have a favourite version and haven't bothered updating it in years.

guess we will just have to round up every irish footballer and race them
Doyle's rating on footballtalentspotter: http://footballtalentspotter.com/pla...doyle-911.aspx
Does anybody remember when players used to race each other over 100m and then a champion would be named. I seem to remember Terry Phelan doing well. From memory it was a feature on Saint and Greavsey. Maybe they should bring that back!!!
I remember Man City's Keith Curle was one of the last defenders left in the competition one year.
Mick Mc in the paper today saying how Wolves have no chance of keeping Doyle if they go down. He is apparently the subject of interest of many clubs and according to Mick would not look at of place at City, Man Yoo or Chelsea. Pool could do alot worse than him as well.
Strange that Mick is even talking about the team going down, Pompey and Burnley are gone and Hull are very poor, they have a pretty decent chance of staying up.
Wouldn't surprise me if Doyle has a get out clause in his contract, I would have had if I was in his shoes.
I guess Mick was hoping Doyle and Maierhofer would form a strike partnership (which hasn't happened). I'd like to see him play in a better team personally but from an Ireland perspective it would be of benefit for us to have Wolves stay up.
Don't get me wrong I would love to see Doyle at a big club but does anyone on here honestly think he would be a regular starter at any of those clubs? Liverpool being the exception as we only have Torres!! I would love to see Doyle at Anfield but the others? Ahead of Rooney, Berbatov, Drogba, Tevez, Bellamy, Adebayor, Kalou, Anelka?
C'mon folks I like the guy, have said so many times but if we think he is the equal of any of those guys then we are dreaming. Would you have Doyle in the Irish team if all of those players I listed were Irish?
Mick McCarthy is preparing for the worst and trying to big up Doyle so Wolves will recoup all of the money they spent on him.
I like Doyle, and he has been playing well for Wolves and for Ireland, even if he's not scoring a tonne of goals.
He could be a starter for most Premier League sides in the 5th to 10th place range. He's a good player, with a great attitude, but I don't think he's got elite-level athleticism, speed, or the football brain to be a world-class striker for a top 4 side.
That was some "tackle" by Jensen on Doyle today! Funny moment.
Last I checked, he scored the goal that sent the France second leg into extra time...
In fairness to Yapster he did make a boll0cks of a chance to win it when one on one with the keeper. This thread is about Kevin Doyle though, Robbie has his own thread where I have defended him. Robbie Keane is (despite missed chances) above reproach when it comes to what he has done for Ireland.
I've often said how I think Doyle lacks the proper "killer instinct" to really be an effective striker, but he just showed it against West Ham when he latched onto a terrible mistake by Tomkins and finished from a tight angle to put Wolves up 1-0.
Foley also hit the crossbar with a good effort from a tight angle.
