If it is the case there will a be a good shake up of GD for a few clubs. A couple of businessmen have managed to get the unrelegatables at best probably relegated and at worst gone. Fran Gavin will be prepping his 9 team league promo talk just in case no doubt. It's a sad affair and once again will bring licencsing under scrutiny if players are not being payed after last season's messing. If Bray do have further problems with paying players, especially if they pull out of the league it wouldnt be a surprise to have some sort of bond needed to be lodged with the FAI as part of licencsing in future. Bray will probably, (hopefully) at minimum limp along until November, after that though it would be pretty bleak looking for their future unless Kelly can motivate them and keep them up. It'll all be Wicklow County Council's fault....
I think we know licencing is a joke; the FAI will find a way to fudge it. Look at Athlone. I'm sure there's a couple more investors out there who can be found. Fran simply can't afford to lose any more clubs (which partly comes back to the very short-sighted decision to change the LoI to a summer season, which simply increased the divide between senior football and the rest)
Also worth noting that for all the mess Bray are in now (and there's no evidence that payments are being missed - but they are bottom of the league with a much reduced budget compared to last year and an unknown manager), they were worse three years ago when the current regime came in. Is there even any viable alternative? Would Pat Devlin go back? How would that impact Cabinteely if it happened?
If only we had branded bus stops...
Is it too much of a presumption to conclude that Graham Kelly has a Pro licence if the statement says he is "caretaker manager for the foreseeable future"?
They could have gotten an exemption if they've gotten him signed up on a course.
Paul O'Hehir of the mirror reporting that Russell is in line to take the job and might be in place by Friday. Even for Bray that is a ridiculously short reign for Kelly

Kelly never lost a match for Bray , tbf that's not bad for a caretaker.
No appointment so far. More speculation from the media. If it's going to happen will probably happen after tonight and before Monday's game against Rovers.
Bill Cosby, cancer scandals and Bray.
What a league...

Bit of a pattern emerging.
SBP obviously never heard of "i before e except after c".
Trouble at mill?
So if they get F'ecked out I make it
Rovers + 3 points
Derry + 3 points
Dundalk + 2 points
Waterford +2
Cork and Pats the big losers,,,,,,,apart from the Bray fans and players obviously.
Now if we could just get Bohs to go out of business we'd be back in the title race :)
reported that bray players weren't paid + Bray just released an "injury" list
Dillon, Douglas, Rodgers, Sullivan, Noone,Kelly, Gorman, Ellis, Greene and doubtful Gibbons, Kenna, McCabe

I understand that Bray Wanderers players were not paid this morning as scheduled.
