28.
Was a regular in the Tunisia setup until he did his cruciate on loan with Denizlispor in 2021. Could have been looking at going to the World Cup. Instead he seems to have been without a club all season. Can't find anything about him. Not even playing for Le Havre II
Harps sign Noe Baba. We badly needed a defensive midfielder, and he should hopefully do a job for us there.

There's a blast from the past!
He was on trial with Bohs during pre-season, played in a couple of friendlies.
We've signed goalkeeper Dean Lyness and defender Axel Sjöberg. The goalie is a replacement for Danny Rogers who damaged his wrist in the warmup last weekend.

Kerry FC is delighted to announce the signing of Cian Barrett from Shamrock Rovers on a loan deal.
Interesting news - thought it was said here that amateur clubs couldn't do loan deals, but presumably that doesn't apply to underage players?
I presume they can't loan any professionals.
I thought the transfer window closed a few weeks ago too
Rovers fans will know more but I assume he’s not on a pro contract there which would maybe explain the possibility of the loan deal
What actually constitutes an amateur club in terms of the senior setup. Im sure Kerry isnt entirely volunteer run eg management/coaching. Do minimum contracts not come in to effect or when must they apply? Id imagine there were issues in the past with parent clubs paying loanee wages and using host clubs like feeder club etc. so hence some restriction on amateur clubs and loans + host club contributing x % of wage. Outside the transfer window could it work if a 'pro' contract was torn up and a player became a free agent and offered say a year long deal, with the hope of a return at season end if the player continued to show potential?
Definitely an Interesting one as Tommy Barrett said on BTS a few seasons ago they can't loan players as they are amateur.
By the way where did Harlain Mbayo go?
And is Aaron Greene still at Rovers, he didnt play in th LSL game but he hasn't been reported as injured either.
Danny Searle sacked at Waterford this morning. Club already advertising for a new manager on social media.
Some joke to be honest, far too early to be doing this, unless Danny wanted out which I doubt.
Waterford do seem really badly run for the money that's behind them
Like, it's not been a great start to the season, but sacking a manager five games in seems daft.
There were definitely a few mistakes. They were quite poor against us and in the 2nd half against Bray with 10 men I couldn't believe how deep they were sitting with over 30 minutes still to play.
In saying that he's been put into a difficult situation - I don't know how much input he'd have had into the loan signings of Barry Baggley and Chris Conn-Clarke from Fleetwood but both started against us and didn't really look like an improvement on Shane Griffin who was on the bench in their place.
I think if we hadn't started with 6 wins from 6 he'd have got more time to turn it around but as we know only too well getting up through the playoffs is very difficult so winning the league has to be the priority.
Definitely very harsh on Searle but then it's hard to have much sympathy when he knew what he was getting into after the similar recent fleeting spells at the club experienced by Morris, Bircham, Sheedy.
I'm sure the queue of candidates for the job and Waterford will believe they will be fifth time lucky
Keith Long makes sense
Would Keith Long not be waiting for the St. Pats job? Surprising how Vinny Perths name isnt coming up.
John Sheridan is available also - well he went back to Oldham 4 times so anything is possible!
Having gone to plenty of Waterford games under Searle I thought he was quite poor to be honest, ridiculously conservative always getting very defensive whenever ahead. While it is hard to gauge his win/loss ratio as a large favourite in most games, they largely disappointed in games that mattered.
Richard Dunne has made noises about getting into league of Ireland management would this interest him? Also Brian Murphy if interested in management I could easily happening, given Jon Walters involvement nowadays I wonder if it will be someone he played with
I think Perth is probably getting close to a last chance to take a job so I would imagine he'd definitely be interested. As Kiki said above Keith Long may be thinking the Pat's job could be available soon but that's a dangerous game to play - they should get back to winning ways against UCD on Friday and soon the poor start to the season could be forgotten.
Keith Long appointed Waterford manager, decent appointment for both parties I think….
interesting... there goes pats first target if things dont tick in the right direction for clancy soon
What is the story there? Yes there was talk of fallings out with players but that happens, he was involved with those players as an assistant, he won the league as a head coach in his own right, his time as manager at Dundalk there was a whole heap of sh1te happening that wouldnt have had much to do with him - what stories if any have done the rounds of club boardrooms that seem to have him overlooked. Of course his own demands might rule him out or he isnt putting himself forward but if he is youd think a club would have given him an opportunity by now, even in IL?
Oh and congrats to Keith Long, he may have stagnated at Bohs but I liked him when he was playing at Dundalk and isnt a headbanger of a coach, isnt a seriel complainer so could be the sort of stable influence that Waterford need!
Plenty of issues at Dundalk under Perth were down to him, along with the madcap off the field stuff. Perth is the last manager prior to Bradley to win the league and has been available for the last couple of years yet no club has decided to take him on. That tells its own story.
He didn't come out well in Gartland's book either.
