Stop with the logical attitude. We can't handle the logical attitude. :)
Was at the Olympic game last night. Shocking standard of refereeing. Also don't think that will be the end of it.

I could name more teams ive played with but wont bother:D IMO the premier in Limerick is stronger but Newmarket and Avenue wouldn't struggle in it or win it. Also I really couldn't see Town or Hibs win The Clare league. We could talk about this over and over but its pointless so lets all move on now.
IMO frankie isn't a bad ref, he gets alot of decisions spot on he just can't handle people calling for decisions, one of our players was almost given a yellow for calling "our throw ref" last night. Red card wasn't a red, but now it could be more than a 3 game ban! Even Frankie wouldn't let the Olympic captain speak to him(frankie).
Bet it was diving :P
Ryan will be out for at least three games now - a joke of a sending off.
But at least he can look forward to the upcoming rally of the lakes in Killarney!!!
Refs in Clare are too sensitive. Ryan's sending off last night was unjustified but his reaction after may cause him further issues. The sending off was wrong plain and simple. I have seen too many games in Clare being riuned as a contest by refs over-reacting to simple things, yes they deserve respect but they need to respect players. Too many refs willing to give reds for a players verbal reaction but the same refs will not take action against dangerous tackles.
Also the influence these refs have in a game is ridiculous, I would go as far as saying that they actually try to bring teams that are losing back into a game rather than reffing the game on it's merits.
We have some very good refs in Clare but their good work is being undone by the others.
Yeah Ryan Kelly, it was for a tackle on Newmarket RB not even a bad tackle but was a free. We got the win anyway which is the main thing bridge Celtic have 2 tough games next against turnpike and Rhine rovers (I know Rhine are bottom but they are a decent side) can some1 shed some light on this at the end of the season if top 2 teams are level on points what happens also how many teams are automatically promoted?
Yet shannon town and shannon olympic played in the final so therefore they are better than newmarket and bridge..
pre season means nothing..
first
you have a good knowledge of clare football. Who was the last clare team to beat a limk team in a munster junior or fai game..and when..
Melon
Do you even go to the games >> i Bumped into one of olympic management at lunch time Newmarket scored from free kick and player looked offside ryan then abused referee twice over decision and i quote " You f**kin pr**k and then you F**kin Idiot " Correct me if i am wrong nobody can call that a bad decision or rediculous decision by ref ( Kicks we await your reply)
I am wrong as it was monk who gave away the free-kick (resulting to the offside header) so my apologies, you are infact wrong as in my earlier post ryan tried to talk to the ref pleading his case that it was offside(not abusing him) and after he was shown a red he was then told to leave the grounds that's when he called him a f**kin /*****/idiot. Which indeed was telling the truth.
Wrong yet again Melon.. as already said referee told two olympic management team after he sent ryan off the reason he sent him off for abusing him Twice .. i Heard after Ryan had got togged out and came back towards pitch referee told him to leave the ground again and Ryan had words with referee again.. ? God only knows what Frankie will put in his report and hopefully he does not go overboard on his report as it could result in a big ban
Im literally laughing here at the fact your telling me im wrong, but here im sure you were much closer to the incident than me! Why you say "correct me if im wrong" and then I correct you cause your wrong and than you go on to say im wrong again. Frankie used the words "abusing him" but the only time Ryan actually abused Frankie was after the sending off! I would say correct me if im wrong but I assume your going to whether I say it or not:rolleyes:
Who have Shannon Olympic left to play.
Kilkishen are a decent side. Can see some points dropped there and also with turnpike. Should win the rest IMO. Do they still have a ridiculously big squad yeah?
Yeah they certainly added to the squad since we played them in the cup, do who have a big squad?
Bridge Celtic have :
Rhine - home and away
Turnpike - home
Burren - Away
Newmarket - home
Ennistymon - away
Pretty sure that's their fixture list.
How big is Olympics squad?
15/16 players, had 16 the other night that's with the return of injuries from wayne regan and gary leahy.
