Whos' supposed to be missing?

ahh thats a load of bull.they have a big squad..if they get over this weekend personally cant see anything stopping them from winning the treble. Dont think shannonside are good enough to beat them in a cup final.
Its heating up in division 1. Wins for Rockhill, Carrig and Killeaney and it will go down to the last day of the season to see who gets promoted let alone win the league. Could see the league being played off in a Playoff which could happen. I said it all ready, Rockhill have being leading this division all year and after the last game of the season they could find themselves third.
Prediction Killeaney to win all their games and meet Carrig in a league playoff.?
Also its going to go down to the wire for last relegation spot in the premier division. any kid of a result for NCW rovers on sunday will be massive!!
Cant remember now who is missing but there was quiet a few in paper,i tink shahannon king an shaughnessy were mentioned, plus lynch. i was going to go watch it but if there missing that amount i might give it a miss and save my 10 euro!!

`Spot on Southern Kid Shanahan played no part in the game, King played no part in the game, Shaughnessy played no part in the game all through injury. Lynch passed a late fitness test and played outstanding. Lets hope Micheal Brosnan's Mammy doesnt read this forum coz he was supposed to be studying for a very big exam hes' got coming up on Tuesday but played anyway. And if you did give it a miss, you only saved yourself €5 entrance fee. (Whadya think this is a GAA match?!!?)
Oh and by the way, we won with a clean sheet....

Congrats to broadford utd on winnin the league..well deserved..should be a great Desmond cup final also..sounds like the shannonside vs rathkeale b was a great game. Anyone know who scored for shannonside?
There was a number of cars broken into at Clounreask at the recent Abbeyfeale vs Broadford game.
Just a word of warning to the many people who may be travelling to finals there in the next couple weeks to leave valuables at home.
Daniel Power with 2 and Mike Behan with 2.
Anyone know how the player from rathkeale B who collapsed after coming off is getting on. Its a disgrace that there was no ambulance available for him. Two ambulances on in the county for a bank holiday weekend where riverfest, munster game, fleadh ceoil and another festival in Ballyhahill, disgraceful really. Heard that shannondoc took over an hour to get there. Fair play to the lads from Foynes fire brigade who brought an oxygen tank for him. Hope that player is ok and that he has a speedy recovery.
Any opinions on both finals involving Broadford and Shannonside.

What do Rockhill have to do to win Division 1. Is it in their own hands
Yeah, all rockhill have to do is win on sun to collect cup, however if they draw and Carrig win then it would be a playoff, if kileaney win and Carrig win it's a playoff between Carrig and kileaney and finally if rockhill win, Carrig lose and athea win. Rockhill will win league and it will be a playoff between kileaney, Carrig and athea for promotion. Very interesting that it's coming down to final round of matches, best of luck to all teams

Any other scores?
how did division 1 games go today
Heard killeaney beat rockhill and carrig won as well so both go up and play off to see who wins div 1
Didn't hear carrig result but killeaney beat rockhill 3-1
tough on rockhill if they dont even finish top 2 after a great season.
Carrig won 4 0 and kileaney won 3 1 so it's a playoff between them to see who are winners and who are promoted, tough on rockhill but they knew the needed a win or at least a draw today and couldn't get it. Great finish to season though
Lads don't know if this is through but heard rockhill were missing a few players today because of Gaa commitments this evening,if that's the case they don't deserve to go up,work hard for 8 months and then walk away, shows where priorities are if through!!!

Rockhill getting promoted would have been bad for the premier div. On there day there very strong but if games clash with gaa they basically have no team.
Must be a long time since you were there they have dressing rooms but the pitch is difficult to play on and you'd want about 20 footballs for every time it goes over the wall!
I couldn't agree more with draper.glad to see carrig and killeaney come back up.have brilliant facilities and great pitches..in one way I'm happy kildimo went down cos they have a brutal pitch and no dressing rooms..
Best of luck to shannonside and broadford in the league cup and desmond cup finals.should be cracker of games..
Fair enough last man, long time alright since I was there but I'm still glad Carrig and Kileaney came up. As for Kildimo, shocking pitch and away team togs off in cars on side of the road while they tog off in the local hall or whatever it is. That day is gone. Good riddance Kildimo....
Your respect is hard earned draper, i have seen my own local rural club build dressing rooms, floodlight astro and develop 2 pitches in past 10 or so years but would never hear any of them speak down on a fellow club like you do. equally passionate clubmen at clubs with zero facilities that keep them clubs going in tough circumstances as there are at all your model clubs. some clubs are only on the go less than 20 years or so its difficult to have gaa club type facilities in that limited timeframe
Ah good we're on the same hymm sheet so Balls, I fully agree with you, in the last 20 years Desmond league clubs have worked tirelessly bring their facilities up to date in difficult circumstances. And your quite right, in a lot of cases its only in the last 20 years that Soccer clubs have really emerged so hats off to them....
