As we have cut our outgoings to a minimum. Simple really. Keep eroding the outstanding crippling debt and keep things going on the pitch. If we can survive the next season or two then things will ease a lot.

One or two said that but its difficult for some to guess because Pats fans were spraed out and Rovers were in the shed. We'll get official figures soon (including away tickets sold)
My own guess would be that the crowd was a way down on that 2,800 figure. The shed holds less than 1,000 when full too...
We should be able to sit where we please in the away section which offers the best view and not run the gauntlet of mounting piles of bird sh1t. It doesnt cost too much to brush the steps, ground and wipe the seats with a cloth. I couldnt sit in my seat it was that bad. Its not too much to ask for a clean sit now is it.
what you said was pretty libellous. It reverberated around the ground like a colossal fart.
People were dumbstruck :D
I would have said their was more than 200 there. (300-400!) In case you haven't noticed,we're second last in the table! Waterford are up near the top and have a much bigger catchment area and they get wonderful crowds of... 500ish... WOW:D
The away section is in the terrace. Who wants to sit at an away football match? And in case you haven't noticed, the stand is pretty big, there was plenty of other seats around, considering ye brought nearly no one to the game and your challenging for the title!
if away section in terrace then why sign in the right side of main stand saying away section (not the point anyway). When was the last time you where in the main stand as most of it covered in bird sh1t hard enough if you wish to sit to find a good few seats together. Dont get me wrong I like Flancare Park but the seats in main stand do need a clean.
There rarely is anyone on the other sides of the ground as behind the goals on one side is the carpark, and there is no cover on the other sides either so it is usually just the one side.
As for the stand, it wasnt full but it wasnt far from it. I would say closer to 550 in it and then there were quite a few up at clubhouse end and along the walls.
From starting with 200 to now 550, looks like the best crowd of the season so far and growing!
Well it might does have a sign there actually:( but there is an away supporters entrance and barriers up for segregation in the terrace, but due to everyone complainig they probably just let people in the stand now except for teams with proper away support! Yes, they do, but theirs a hell of a lot that don't either!

Yes I was saying to a Limerick fan that there were 550 approx in the stand and more around the ground that brought the figure to 832 official figure.
But I thought you were referring to Ronnie who was talking about Longford figures as if you read further back I said that there was only about 30-40 from Limerick.
There's two conversations going on that got crossed.
Magicme was putting Sadloserkid right on the Monaghan-Limerick attendance of 832, saying there was around 550 in the stand alone.
Partizan was saying there was 200 at Longford-Waterford, Keen2win said more like 300-400 (not a hope in hell by the way, Partizan is spot on), then Ronnie misread Magicme's post and said "From starting with 200 to now 550, looks like the best crowd of the season so far and growing!"
All the subsequent confusion stemmed from that.
Bar your little snipe at the end B&W, despite your 'shock' they obviously did get that amount there.
2,158 at Cork-Pat's.
The first return game of the season. I know this game was midweek, but the previous meeting got 3410.
Yep, lots to consider. Was just throwing the figure out for general interest as it was the first one.
Irish Sun reported 1,200 at Harps-Ipswich.
1200 oh that should fund there new stadium. are they still working on it or whats the story with it ?
Various papers reported all sorts of figures but it was around 1500.
As for the new stadium we're waiting for grant money to be released to the contractor. Once that happens progress should be relatively rapid. How the stadium is related to last night's game is beyond me though.
No wonder they can only afford cheap tracksuits when they have their own brass bands.
No self respecting Monaghan youngster would be seen dead without their own personal musical retinue.
