their keeper scored it actually from a kick out:o:o:o
the meeting of regional and pike looks like being a title showdown allready . any idea when that fixture could be . both teams will get tired especially with all the cup games in the next month.
The putch?Where's that? And he's already looked foolish, talking about title challenges when they should've beaten corbally if they were really that.Speaking of corbally, saw their team in the paper and they'd alot of new players.Did ye make a few signings dared or are they mostly young fella's?
I didn't mean to put ye down but the way striker 9 talks fairview should b beating everyone week in,week out.And everyone was writing ye off after the first 4 games against all the top teams. It's obviously a good team ye've assembled, good draw away against the supposed title challengers.Maybe striker 9 should think before typing.
pike will win the league our squad is too strong imo......regional always have a good start but fall away towards the end fairview will struggle against weaker teams.....i know we lost against regional at the start of the season but i actually think that was a good thing we have the strongest squad we ever had and hopes are high for the fai and being able to field a second side against weaker teams will benefit us greatly!!!!roll on the hoops
your right there , league is over. What price on Pike to Win MJC FAI and league? easy money if you ask me:ball:
id say you would get good odds on that and are glad you agree with me......... connie and casey have the boys getting on great and talk of players leaving havent seen that yet......only players wanting to come to club its great we can have anyone....were like man city now
Have to agree, can't see anyone else but pike winning the league, could have it won by March i'd say. The other teams challenging will take too many points off each other to mount a challenge.
is it true Fairview are playing AA in the league this sunday, their MJC game is off???
it does not look good for games this weekend whats the boro pitch like, will it stand up to all the rain that has fell and we are suppose to get
the pitch is in good nick, got work done to it last year and very rarely are matches called off, there hasn't been a game on it in over a month so i can't see it being called off
sand...its a sand based pitch:p:p:p
what state will the pitch be in even if the game does go ahead though?
ALot of rain to come between now and 10.30 tomorrow
it holds up well surprisingly enough, was down there this morning and it looks in fantastic nick
no still on
boro 1 killmallock 0 boro VERY lucky missed peno & scored within first 5 mins, then went to sleep..killmallock missed 1 very good chance in 1st half.. pitch cut up but not as bad as we thought.. killmallock play lovely football but very young and very small..if they can take the hit this year, hold on too the fine young players could be a fine team in a few years. have to give credit to boro players for attitude after final whistle.. they know what i am on about well done..
not like you to get your facts incorrect oscar.. not a sand based pitch....
the ref hardly left the centre circle...agree he was very poor
any other results today
Fairview were playing AA
fairview 2-2 Aisling.fairview had a great chance to go one up after 20mins when kelliher hit the post.aisling broke up the field practically straight away and cusack scored from a shot outside the box to give aisling a deserved lead.farview equalised with 10mins to go in the half when kelliher dropped deep into space and played a one two with judge and then got on the end of it to finish well from inside the box.fairview started well in the second half with the wind behind them and kelliher scored after 5mins into the second half when a high cross was misjudged in the wind by the aisling keeper to give kelliher an easy tap in from 5 yards.fairview continued to press for the next ten mins but aisling weathered the storm and worked there way back into the game.aisling had at least 3 chances to equalize with the fairview keeper making good saves from ronan smalle on 2 occasions and from paul cummins.fairview always looked dangerous on the break but they couldnt convert some good possession to goals.with ten mins to go jason sheehan scored with a header from a sherlock free kick to level the game at 2-2. all in all a draw was probably a fair result for what was a good game of football played in difficult conditions in front of a large crowd.in saying that though aisling will be disapointed that they didnt get all 3 pts as imo they had more scorable chances.
was at the fairview and aisling game today.there is a fair amount of good players up in fairview warming the bench? rossi, harrington, grant cant get a start?anyone have a reason for this?are these lads just not better than the players playing today or what?cant see them hanging around subbing for ever.
thought todays game between view and AA was good entertaining game.thought kelliher and heffernan were excellent for fairview.john o dwyer was my man of the match.thought him and heffernan had a great battle.worked his socks off for AA
