Glad to help, surprised at the refund, thought they would of offered you a credit note. If they conceeded the point that they have refunded some people they can hardly turn round now and not others

Dealaney - more tickets
"We've looked for 6,500 tickets from the Georgian FA," he said. "That proposal is with them.
The location for Georgia's remaining home games will depend on the political situation in the country.
"I've spoken to all the top people in Fifa at the highest level about this over the last couple of weeks. Their view is very simple: they'll take each game on a case-by-case basis."
i thought that alright why would they move all games, who was saying that and on what basis?
FAI will have a ticket booth outside ground in Mainz for Irish fans.
Those who booked tickets for Georgia game in Tbilisi can collect tickets from the booth before the game, FAI said.
sorry folks - ive been down the sticks for the weekend :) had no net access. Got a call on Friday from the ticket office stating that as a Tbilisi appplicant I would get first pick on tickets and that the remainder would be distributed in Mainz.
Well, I rang their UK number and they were adamant that no refunds were possible. So taking your advice, I asked if they were willing to provide insurance for me as my travel insurance will not cover deliberately flying to a war zone. There was a moments hesitation before the girl on the phone went off to speak to her supervisor. When she returned, she said whilst they could not do a full refund, they were willing to refund the taxes back. Considering this was as much as a few of the others flying from London could get from Czech Airlines and the like, I accepted. €180.00 is comes to, but better than nothing I suppose. Thanks for your advice, Greenforever.
I just hope that al the supporters that orginally booked for tbilisi get tickets for the game in germany. It is a mammoth task for all those that booked for tbilisi to re-arrange and go to germany. It will be criminal if fo some reason the allocation of tickets does not cater for them.
Needless to say i and 2 others travelling together are part of this brigrade
When you get back from the trip, write to them, quoting the refunds issued to others and threatening to sue them in the small claims courts. I'll email you our booking details if you want to include with the letter.
As the man says you have nothing to lose and a few quid to gain, tell them you might settle for a return trip to Sofia next July provided they guarantee the Russians arent still advancing :D:D:D
Hmm. I'll see what the other lads are doing regarding their cancelled flights before threatening them with an appearance before Judge Wapner*. I'm just thankful to get anything back at all, to be honest. Really looking forward to Germany now.
* Pointless obscure early 80's TV reference. Ask your dads.
