Don't normally read threads in this section but I find it amazing how many of ye "remember him well from when he played with Pats" now that he has scored a vital goal for Ireland.

complete set of bástards indeed
Craig Gardner's been given a straight red against Wigan. Should give Fahey an opportunity to win a starting place in the next few weeks.
Anyone watching the Arsenal game today see how he played today? He did assist on their goal.
Watched about 10mins of the game and it was a lovely cross from Fahey from the sideline, right to the head of some 2m tall player on the edge of the box. Not a lot of power in the header but it was an Arsenal goalkeeper. Carr still playing, he looks sharp enough.
it was Faheys assist and it was a super cross from the left, cut inside on his right and delivered a cross right onto the head of Zigic. Header was well placed.
First premier league goal for Keith.
Stoke were 2 - 0 up, Delap the only Irish stoke player.
Glenn Whelan comes on for Stoke.
Fahey chest down a ball on the edge of the box and smacks it into the far corner.
Brimingham got another goal to level it, good cross, not sure who provided it, could have been Fahey.
Is that Faheys second of season?
Assist was by Stephen Carr, was a good cross.
Did this really need a new thread?
Superb from Fahey. :ball:
I would say so.
I think that was his (Faheys) first goal, maybe first Premiership goal.
The mods can always merge it with the main Fahey thread, I think it was worthy of a headline in the forum, makes it easier to sort out the important stuff form the less important ramblings :) (like this)
Wilson on with 5 mins to go, now Walters on in the final minutes.
Quite a few Irish on the pitch, with Carr Delap Whelan etc..

In there with the rest of the highlights
Great strike, controlled it well with his chest and volleyed it home.
-ish. It sounded more Far-hee some of the time. Not as bad as Gary Dockerty and Kevin MurrAN though.
Think he's talking about the commentator on the link peader. And yeah I noticed it too :D
I suppose it's okay for us to pronounce McGeddy as McGeady.
Fahey was dropped after the WHam result where he started. So after last night, you would think he should be back in the XI at the wkd. B'ham could be in for a difficult season this year. Def wont repeat anything like last year.
I think they will be comfortable enough. Results have been more mixed than last year as they seem to be picking up wins and losses where normally they'd have drawn, but they still look good.
seemed to be booed by the home fans when his name was called out before the game today. Very quiet performance.
thats what i was wondering. Im not sure. Its the first time ive seen Brum and Fahey play in a while. Possibly they dont feel he should be in the starting lineup.
I wouldn't agree that was a quiet performance. When he got the ball he almost always did something intelligent with it. He tracked back very well for the whole game as well. Regardless, ever Brum player who finished that game was going home a hero. Foster was unbelievable.
That'd be odd. He came on in the Stoke came for Beausejour, who'd been poor, and grabbed the goal.
AFAIK, he's started all the games for them in that position since. Anyway, as long as McLeish keeps picking him, he should be fine. I think McLeish is the kind of manager who won't change things if it's going well but will if it's going badly.
Starting in the Carling Cup final.
Great game, Birmingham are really taking it to Arsenal.
Hopefully Stephen Carr can captain Birmingham to the trophy.
