I second pete's post. At times the film almost seems like a silent movie.
Myself and the boyfriend loved it, deserves one or two Oscars no doubt. The guy to my right and his girlfriend thought it was absolute tripe, worst film they'd seen in a long time. The guy who sat next to my boyfriend actually fell asleep. Bored? Hard day at work? Sleep depraved?
Anyway, also managed to see Sweeney Todd which was OK. I'd prefer Sleepy Hollow for horror. If you don't like musicals then Sweeney Todd is not for you.
