Anyone could get to the final....on form though you would have to say favourites would be winners of Park Croom , Coonagh and Knockainey....interseting..home advantage might be crucial.

To be fair they got off to a bad start concedeing a penalty, which was saved but had to be retaken because one of their players stepped into the box. The next two goals were good ones and then another penalty which saw one of their players sent off. The second half started with an early goal for us and they got one back, but it was blown up early because of the conditions,still a good win for us though.

I was impressed with how ye played good football, on what after 20 mins was a bog. We didn't help ourselves with our defending but ye showed real class cutting us open. I'm still here pal!! Ya was very disheartened with us yesterday but take nothing away from ye at all. Horrible day, for us not just weather wise!! We really are in the relegation fight now. Two huge home games left. Holycross and Abbey. Going to be tough for us.

Yeah the pitch was in a right state by the end..unplayable for a few weeks I'd say. Defence really let ye down..ye have some handy players in the middle of the park.. I think it was number 10 that really stood out.

Our little Kosovan? Arthur. Lovely footballer. Great first touch, and for a small lad incredibly hard to knock off the ball. He's one of our best for sure. We need serious work all round if we are to stay up though.

I hope we get up god knows we need it.... For the record there are worse teams than Pike B in the division..... The important thing for us is putting the Coonagh result behind us.... Some of the critism was way over the top in particular the critism of the manager. All the players have taken full responsibilty and turned the results around. The response since then has been excellent from all the players I just hope we can keep it going....

Hey hold it there bud. Nobody said this thread had to be hostile. I give an honest opinion from a Pike B perspective and that's it. No bull, no biased, just my opinions. What game were you watching bud prospect should have been 4 nil up at h-t . You must have came along with 25mins to go when prospect were 3 nil up and then there was a mix up between centre half and goalie and shels scored. That gave them a lift and they started to get on top but prospect defended very well and finished the game off with another cracking goal. Terrific win for prospect who were not at full strength again but credit to the guys who played. While on the other hand shels looked at full strength.

Buddy of mine told me that. He's friends with most of those players you mentioned there. What he said was, they need a finisher, an out and out striker. Good as those players are, none of them is a goalscorer are they? You missed my point..

Was up at the Prospect game for the first half and Prospect definitely deserved their 2-0 lead. Two lads up front caused Shels so much trouble. Shels had some good possession but didnt create chances so no matter if there was a finisher there wouldnt have been much to work with.

As I said above, I only heard this opinion from a Shels man. The one game I saw Shels play was against us, and they had no problem in front of goal that day!! Prospect might take great confidence from that and push on. Would be inresting to see who they have left to play.
