Not necessarily, they may put Longford up considering Bray bet them in the playoff. Its always hard to know with the FAI...they may put one of the bottom teams up like Wexford or Galway for all we know.

I doubt that the details of his contract would be public knowledge - but the indications were that the new contract he signed in October gave him a substantial raise and included payments over the close season. It is implausible that this would be combined with a no-fee / low-fee release clause, that would see him get paid for 2-3 months and then allow him to depart in January.
More than likely there may be some clause in the contract that he can talk to any interested teams and go if they want to sign him....considering theres a suitable offer. Hes been given a 52 week contract and paid a lot of money by our main sponsors to keep him here. And this is contrary to rumours that his father is supposedly his agent and didn't want him signing anything until after the January transfer window incase a team from the UK was interested but didn't want to pay a fee.
Trevor Croly has failed in a loan bid for Paul Corry but is hopeful of signing Stephen McPhail from Sheffield Wednesday.

Also reported that Bohs have decided to wear an all-green away kit next season in tribute to Shamrock Rovers.
Reports here in the UK rags that McPhail has been offered a contract extension by Wednesday but has yet to accept - could Shamrock Rovers be offering enough to entice McPhail away from Wednesday?
No, even a poor wage in the Championship is higher than anything Rovers could offer. The article says he's keen to move to Ireland so it'd be the same situation as Fahey - taking less money than he could get.
It says in the article over here that Mcphail is keen to move back home because his family is still here.
He has been away from Ireland for years now and his career isn't going to be going much further than low championship level so if he can get a decent enough offer from Rovers he may as well come home and play over here.
Paraphrased from the UK edition of the Mirror - Stephen McPhail is set to extend his stay at S.W.F.C., Caretaker boss Stuart Grey quoted 'Talks are happening with Stephen so its up to him now'. Then waffles about his time at Wednesday and his release from Cardiff.
Its fair to presume that the UK writer of the piece would think that if he is talking about an extension with Wednesday that he would grab it being unaware of an offer from LoI.
Twitter talk from a pretty reliable Town supporter that Don Cowan is signing back for LTFC. Himself and Davy O'Sullivan could do some damage this year if that's true. Not sure how those two and Peter Hynes fit in the one side mind you.
If its true that'd be wonderful news, as long as we play himself and Sully up top together and not shove one on the wing and play a mad 4-3-3
Cowan has been without a club for a few months so it makes sense to come home. It's a shame he was injured and never got a full chance to impress at Stevenage.
Any truth in rumor that stephen mcphail is homesick and is considering turning down a contract extension with Sheffield Wednesday as he wishes to move back to Ireland to be closer to his family. Heard if he moves back to Ireland he will be signing for Rovers.
if don is back with us it will make my preseason! dont forget that him and Hynesy were together towards the end of the 10 season also! He has unfinished business with us and only for us selling him to Stevenage he would have being top scorer as he was top scorer until he left and Salmo overtook him.. very wise move from TC if that it true. When I saw him the PFAI squad I was secretly hopin that we would come in for him.
I remember heading up to Longford for a game against ye around 3 seasons ago when Don was playing with ye. He ripped us apart for the whole first half and I remember going into half time worried. He came off injured at half time and the relief was very evident as we went on to get something out of the game. Very good player from what I saw and I'm very surprised someone hasn't picked him up yet.
You can forget about McPhail coming home. He's keen t stay in Sheffield per Wednesdays own Twitter feed.

Cowan is done from what I hear. Agreed before he went to Finland and paperwork was done today apparently.
The old Sligo rumour mill in full swing with this gem:
Gary Twigg may be signing for us.:)

Alan Mathews is new manager of the Wicklow club that dare not speak its name. Interesting. I'd heard he wanted a job close to Dublin so suits him I guess. Not sure what kind of squad he'll have to work with.
So Bray are finally going to be relegated, eh?
The world will end (or the divisions will merge) before that happens. In fact if I had to pick one team to survive the apocalypse..
You know, I was just talking about it with someone else tonight, but why is Pat Scully been out of a job for so long? I was never too fond of the way he had Limerick playing, but he has a decent track record, and surely a more attractive option for a club like Bray over Alan Mathews.
Bray are the cockroaches of Irish football. But now the cockroaches are getting cocky, sticking two fingers up to fate and shouting "I dare you to relegate us!" And fire, lots of fire.
I'd forgotten about Scully funnily enough. Last I heard of him was a wild rumour towards the end of last season, before we got to the play offs, that we were sacking Tony Cousins and bringing in Scully. You'd think he'd have popped up somewhere by now alright.
There's only room in this league for one guy swanning around in a grey trenchcoat thinking he's Mourinho, and Roddy already has a job.
Town have apparently signed Stephen Rice.
Confirmed now by the club. Great signing.
Biggest First Div signing since Limerick signed Behan and Gamble. Good stuff.
Athlone talking to David Webster from Bray. I think he was there captain last year??
