Couldn't see canto or cheeky going there unless they were getting a cut of big daddies money
Probably just usuall start of season rumours but did hear they were in training. 3 good signings if they did sign in my view, but as you said we wont know until the forms are out.
Any news on rineanna rovers lads
Cheeky is signing with a local (Clare) team.. He still want's to come home weekends so won't commit to a team in Letterkenny. Not sure if signing for Lifford is a good idea if he can't train with them. Big Daddy will surely want to develop a good team ethic not play lads from Shannon who can't even train with the team..
Congrats to Donie Garrihy, new chairman of the CDSL. Best of luck with it
any team looking for a friendly this wednesday v Prospect A, we can travel or play in Limerick, pm me
the bridge utd look to have a very young strong team this year...some good young players
Would imagine they will be really looking to bounce back immediately, with the youths they have coming through and the experienced players there already at Bridge utd they should have enough. Maybe being relegated might be a good thing for the club in the long run
Good odds on claresoccer.net .... My picks would be Newmarket A bridge utd A Newmarket B and kilmaley ... Any other predictions

bridge utd A 3-3 Shannon town... first friendly of the season. didn look to be the best match but they are usually poor this time of the year
Draw for Hugh Kelly Memorial Tournament
Quarter-finals
16th August @ County Grounds: Rhine Rovers V Bridge Utd
17th August @ County Grounds: Coole V Avenue Utd
Semi-finals
20th August @ County Grounds: Rhine Rovers/Bridge Utd V Shannon Olympic
21st August @ County Grounds: Coole/Avenue Utd V Newmarket Celtic
Final
27th August @ Sixmilebridge
Don’t waste your money on backing Bridge Celtic to come back up at first attempt. They only have one team this year which is mainly players from last years B team.
Any friendlies on around lads...
bridge utd 3 - 0 shannon olympic... good result for bridge utd.. next match is againts hibs b yes?? :)
Any report on this match.. Were the bridge good or Olympic bad.. Anyone play exceptionally well
Any news on Players lads any clubs sign many new lads
Does any one know the story with the John Paul O Halloran tournament for the coming year.when will newmmarket run it off,bit awkard this year with the league cup.The league cup is a waste of time, teams will play enough games all season without this.
Will it be run this year since rineanna dont have a team and bunratty fc are no more
And your pc needs a DH filter
Last week you were bigging up Newmarket in the WW thread, if you are a Newmarket man you would realise the importance of this tournament and would also realise that the apparent demise of the 2 other teams in the parish won't affect it going ahead. If it is just a A versus B game, probably would be the final anyway as things stand, something will happen as it is a memorial tournament.
So what's your point .. My comment was just asking a question and ya I was friends with holly and I'm delighted it will still go ahead .. It was a simple question ... So get off your high horse and leave out the snide remarks .. Is that fair enough
who git
I think lifford and avenue will be the two clubs up there for the title, i'd say newmarket will be around there somewhere too but from what i've seen of them in pre-season i doubt they will be strong enough to win the league
Hugh Kelly Memorial Tournament 1/4 Final - Bridge Utd 2 - 1 Burren United
would not read to much into pre-season games its all about getting lads match fit.. if newmarket hold onto same squad as last year they will give it a good shot at retaining their league title. avenue are obvious challangers but what are you basing lifford on.. they have always had good teams but seem to fall away at end of season year after year .
Who have you heard left Newmarket and where to, and who are the few new heads Lifford brought in? Heard a few rumours about who big dad has brought in alright...
