Cooke park saturday night at 7. Might try to get to it myself.
Best of luck to the Irish Juniors Saturday!! especially to James Walsh.. By far the best player to grace the Amateur soccer scene in the last ten years....
i bet there will be a bigger crowd at the shield final on sunday between st michaels b and tipp town @ 2.30pm,,, admission is 6 euro for the international whats the bet tommy lewis will have it the same for the shield final
Yes, big crowd expected at both games, good luck in particular to Saints B.... and their Management, Skinner and Chalky.. hope weather stays dry... €6 not bad for an Ireland/Scotland with four saints lads on the panel.. Hotspur... is there not enough happening on the Limerick threads that you are constantly on TSDL Thread spitting fire at St. Michaels soccer club/facilities in particular.... give yourself a break... nobody is rising to your anti Saints comments.!!

Cashelman will Cashel put out a full team against ballyneale, its a disgrace what happened in the Munster, how can they progress as a club with attitude like that! We will forever live in the shadows of Michaels, Celtic and Town!
Of course they will put out a full team. You should not rely on information that comes from "talk down the town" i.e. pub.
Are you a Cashel supporter as you go from one line using the word "they" to using the word "we" on another?
Yes it was a dissappointing performance but there were 6 players missing due to injury and one other unavoidable absenteeism which makes a total of 7 players out. Resting players would be the last thing I would call it. Any team in the league would certainly feel the effects of missing several 1st teamers.
Freak results happen in football and that was one of them. The performance may not have been up to scratch in parts but Cashel had the better chances and hit the woodwork twice and missed a few that on another day would have gone in. Glengoole battled throughout and showed a real fighting spirit when 2-1 and 3-2 down. Would like to wish them the best of luck in the next round
In respect to Sgt Bilko he does post alot of things about Cashel, and likes to keep up to date with how they are doing.im a supporter and like to get to as many games as i can and like me he's very disappointed with the result.
i was told there were 3 or 4 injuries, but with the Cashel B team not having a game did that play a part in Cashel resting a few players, along with there injuries? i did not know Cashel dominated the game as regards chances,i was merely told that it was an understrength team.
Tipp Man do you know anything about their injury list? ie will there be a few missing on sunday against Clonmel Town? in reply to sgt bilko about being in the "top three's" shadow,i think its a case for alot of teams.the amount of players from Cashel who have left and gone to these clubs and other clubs is remarkable.
what makes the Cashel team special as a Team is that they have all grown up and played together since schoolboys, they play GAA together and have done so again, for a very long time. i would like to see them do well again this year and maybe a good cup run, which would be very good for the club.
I have to say I never thought I would b looking forward to a 2nd division game but Sundays shield final game has really got the town going , saints with a new management and team up against tipp town with ex saints as managers and a team with lots of experience , it wil b interesting to see how both teams will perform ? And also a well done to the Tsdl fir playing game in the town which is common sense been applied for once rather having both clubs travelling
i dont totally blame the manager. mourinho couldnt sort out that club. on the cashel thing its great to see the team stick together and i think if they have everyone fit they will get something from the town game. not too many teams in the shadow of town anymore whatever about celtic and saints. think they are getting their just desserts for putting together a team full of outsiders a few years back, took a few players off us and we have only got one of them back since. not the way to build your club
It seems to me there is a lot of criticism for Peake Villa and Cashel for loosing to lower division teams but what about the great results for the so called underdogs. Well done to Glengoole and Ballypatrick on arguably the best results in both clubs histories!
