NB is summing the "Northern Irish Only" and "British & Northern Irish Only" categories, and using that sum to make a comparison with the "Irish only" category. Why? Because NB thinks it is interesting and by posting this interesting observation here he's presumably hoping to get some interesting debate on his interesting observation. By interesting I understand NB as meaning pointless.

In many ways, the hard core Unionists remind me of nutjob christians in the US. They genuinely think it's a grave human rights abuse that their privileged position is being taken away, and they have to be treated just like anyone else.

About the same time they were shipped over here they went a bit further west too.
