Some years anyway...

Maroon,
Apart from the price hike in Terryland, any other reason why there’s been a huge drop off in attendances as it can’t be all just that.
Last season I heard Nick Leeson was running free busses for kids, doing great promos and just getting a good crowd in the stadium for atmosphere and support.
Great idea if true?
What’s gone wrong this year as I don’t think a 5 Euro price hike and a poorer season, you don’t just drop your average from around 3000 to 1200.
I think it's the likes of the BBC who are playing fantasy football attendances.
There was near enough 2,000 in the new stand itself, let alone the rest of the stadium....
The juicy irony of a Cork fan accusing anyone or anythin else of fantasising on attendances...... :D
Was at St Pats v Longford tonight and reckon in region of 1100/1200 there , though regulars will be more accurate.
I know its cup, but there was 1050 fans at the Limerick cork game last night!
around 700 at GUFC -v- waterford, 10-12 away supporters (and that being generous). very poor attendance now a weekly thing at terryland.
Athlone vs Finn Harps
Was told the attendance last night but cant remember the exact figure.
No more than 320 at the game though. About 100 of them harps fans.
I think there was 80 at the Monaghan v UCD game, maybe 100 maximum.
1348 at Shels V Dundalk game last night.
Terrible crowd at shams game tonight, good crowd up from us though. I'll leave it to someone else to guess/post the official attendance.
385 at Youths V Killester according to the Star. Sounds right
Shamrock Rovers v Sligo Rovers: 1,260
Less than 312 Sligo fans.
I would have said about 500 Shams fans and 200 away supporters, a shocking crowd for a cup game
Not that it matters, but only 1,500 at Derry V Liffeys Pearse.
3852 on the Cork forum for Cork v Cobh.
920 at Rovers v Galway.
Limerick 37 vs Athlone Town. Official attendance 292
I know our own gates are down because of two factors Cost and our league position but from going to game and watching MNS there seems to be a fall off everywhere and its worrying to see probably all teams bar Cork not being able to attract crowds of 2,000 plus. Im really worried about not only our own future but that of the league in general am I alone in this.
Pathetic crowd at the Blues-Dundalk game last night, truly pathetic, only about 500 there.
Kind of crowd that makes the people knocking the s**t out of themselves to run the club and do the fundraising wonder what, and exactly who, they're running it for. I don't know how they keep going. That's me done with that side of it after this season anyway.
the official attendance for Wexford last night was 470 the PR guys may get back out on the road attendances starting to drop
About 800 in Tolka last night I'd estimate.
Cobh vs Drogheda attendence was 1700.
500.. sounds a bit too low! id of guessed around 700 - 800.. main stand had about 300 in it with about 100 dundalk fans.. new stand had about 400 - 500! 500 definately far too low
I know this thread is only for the league games, but, I reckon there were around 2500 at the Bohs/Rhyl game - not bad for a 1st round intertoto that everyone expected was a foregone conclusion
About 800 Sligo-UCD.
I'd go with the lower figure - plenty of empty seats, even in F+G
estimate that there was five hundred at our game.. shels brought a good travellin support of say 100 people..
