As I understand it, an awful of lot kids tickets bought by Pat's fans. If adults turn up with kids tickets they'll be turned away at the gate.

Same is commonplace in GAA btw, I have been at both Ulster final and semi final v Kerry in Croke Park with Derry this year and almost every adult I have come across were saying they had the 10 euro kids tickets.

Capacity of EDP for this season is 4300.
I believe the capacity has been reduced to either 4,200 or 4,300 for "healthy and safety reasons".
The ground could easily hold a 5,000 crowd without any issue.

Didn't see a figure announced for Dundalk v Cork City last night, but I'd say it was on track to be one of the lowest since 2012 (obv not counting covid restricted reduced capacity).
Fair play to the 10-15 who made it up, including the secondary school lad who's timeline was posted on twitter, he got out of school at 1.30, 2 trains, 1 luas, lift to airport, aircoach to Cork and home for 4am, deserves a medal or at least a voucher from the club for some kit.
Impressive for Pats, but always wondered what areas hold what there if on a game like this the 'shed' end was closed out. There was a gap between away fans in the main stand, behind goal was busy but not completely full, if say 1,800 between main stand and behind goal, that leaves 2,100 Camac side, I`m not sure these figures stack up?Quote:
