Might suit the dines to have their possible new signings available, looking at those Limerick lads up in athlone, a lot of lads playing LOI who really are not up to the standard
1 of them has signed - Bobby Tier.Jason Travis who was with Fairview A last year also signed. The reason i imagine there signing is they have a young manager that has done a lot in the game and is well respected. This and the fact they will in most likelyhood be playing premier next year.
Have Hibs been suspended or thrown out as they havent palyed a match in a month now?????
At least they're keeping busy training:

two good signings for the dines, will probably go straight into their team one would think.
Could say the same about Gary Higgins surely he could get on alot of premier teams.. So why go to hibs.. It's down to personal choice I suppose.. Lads see a good future at dines maybe
Hibs are been bankrolled by a Qatari buisnessman who's just moved to the area or so the rumour goes anyway. In all seriousness Gary is probably joining Hibs because it's the handiest for him living in Shannon and having to travel to play the past 3 seasons .
Unless your joining pike or the Boro this year, there is not much chance of winning silverware. These players wouldn't make either side
Second....Garry Higgins lives in Shannon so that's why he's probably joining Hibs, the other players have a host of clubs in town to choose from a few of which are in the premier so why go to dines?? Shannon doesn't have a team in the premier and I'm sure if they did Garry Higgins would choose them and to Hollywood hogan how would these players not make either pike or boro when they are coming down from LOI which is a higher standard than the premier...also Garry Higgins was in with the boro last year and was getting his game quite comfortably
what's the big deal !!! players are entitled to sign for what ever team they want ,, go through all the lower divisions and you will find lads playing ball that should be playing in a higher division, shane walters a perfect example not so long ago playing 3a with star b..
I just think outside of kavanagh, Colbert and Jason Hughes that there are better players around the town than those who were signed by athlone, these players probably saw no attraction in travelling up and down the country for €40 a week. As for Gary Higgins good player but Boro team is unrecognisable from this year to last year
Ya surprised that the Boro didn't get back onto him .... Good player with plenty of pace, will do well in 1A. Would expect hibs to go up behind the Dines.
Heard in town last nite that gary Higgins signed for pike Thursday nite.. So much for him going to hibs.

No match again for Hibs? That's madness must be nearly a month now since there last game?
That pike b and croom match will be off I'd say.
All joking aside but no fixture in a full month??What is going on here. There has to be an ulterior motive??Can anybody justify no game in a month and 5 midweek games in the first few weeks of the season??
Based on this it is unlikely that Hibs will play again until the new year!!!Thats nearly as long as the Summer break!!!When the latter part of the season arrives will Hibs get another 5 midweek matches?
Am I missing something or is their a secret underhanded plan???
Does anyone think this is fair??
To be honest it looks like they don't want any Shannon teams in premier.. And while ye have started well they want to try burst your bubble.. What's the bet your next 2 or 3 games will be against teams that are around ye in the table. Trying to catch ye while rusty .. Shocking stuff if that happens..
Hibs u19's have a match Sunday too maybe that's a reason.. Why couldn't there be a Shannon derby this weekend
In all fairness lads stop with the conspiracy theories. All you ever hear from clubs in Shannon playing in Limerick is "the limerick league don't want us". If you ain't happy with it then I'm sure the Clare League will gladly take you back there where according to claresoccer.net there is only 4 league games played?
IMO it will suit Shannon Hibs to not be playing in the muck. From the games I have seen when the ground has been heavy they have struggled.
Blessing in disguise if you ask me.....
Surely a good footballing team can adjust and play in all conditions..otherwise they are just a fair weather team
