leicester v burnley 0-1
McCarthy was the only one of ours involved for leicester and he played well despite a very poor general performance from the home side.he wasnt beaten in the air once all evening and made some timely interceptions on the ground. he avoided a booking and didnt give dodgy freekicks away.he has improved recently and he now needs to maintain that.he also drew the best save of the game from the burnley keeper late on with a fine powerfull header from a corner
the 2 o'connors played for burnley as part of a system designed not to loose the game but wound up mugging leicester 0-1.they both did well and were good in posession.McCann ane Bermingham were unused subs.
norwich reserves v leicester reserves 0-0
Maybury and Sheehan were the full backs for this one and Logan dropped to the bench.Sheehan sent a free kick narrowly wide from a wide area.
Joey O'Brien started for Bolton away to Besiktas in the UEFA Cup tonight. Anyone watch the game and see how he did? Apparently Allardyce made seven changes or so from the team wihch lost to Chelsea. Is the UEFA Cup the new League Cup for them? I know they got hammered, but surely putting Ian Walker in nets isn't going to help?!
I'm/ starting to think getting to the league stage was all big sam wanted, he can play the reserves in the 4 games there, make some decent cash and not have to worry about any of his big name players getting injured, when he gets knocked out they're all still healthy for the Premiership campaign, and he's got money for the transfer window
O'leary from Luton out on loan to Tranmere.

Shane Supple started in goal for Ipswich yesterday and played well.
Dominic Foley scored for KAA Gent in the ninth minute which means he probably started.
leicester v coventry 2-1
McCarthy started.Maybury was on the bench.McCarthy played well again and has gained in confidence recently.he cut out one low cross with the striker awaiting a tap in behind him where he did very well not to o.g. it.he timed one superb challenge when a cov player had a one on one with the leicester keeper ,if he had got it wrong it was a pen and a yellow at least and still in the first half he flicked one huge punt from the cov keeper back to Douglas in the leics goal when under severe pressure,it showed real self beleif.
Had less to do in the second half as Doyle and Hughes in the cov midfield couldnt really get sustained posession but when they pushed near the end he and Dublin were equal to everything.no sogn of Willo Flood,i dont know if he is injured or not,
nice touch at the end as well when 2 leicester fans invaded to celebrate the win and Paddy had a broad smile and a hug for one of them which went down very well in the stadium on a day when the stewarding and policing was needlessly heavyhanded at times.
I haven't heard anything to suggest he is, but that's the third game in a row he hasn't played for Coventry, and the second in a row that he hasn't even made the matchday 16.Quote:

Gustavo has edited the list of premiership players to make the squads and links up to date. Championship will be done whenever I'm in the mood.
cardiff city v leicester city 0-1
McCarthy and Maybury both played the 90 and Sheehan was named among the substitutes.
Alan Lee played for cardiff.
Confirmed injury on mcfc.co.uk, he's going to be out for a few weeks, seems to be back from the loan deal to coventryQuote:

That ******** Adams wasn't playing him at Coventry
Is that not because he was injured? :)Quote:

Kavanagh set up the only goal against Fulham with a freekick. They haven't scored without Kavanagh in the team this season. :)
Can't argue with them stats. Impressive, but I still haven't been fully convinced of him at international level. Hopefully his best is still to come.
