Not rumours. Fact is that they have been in to meet the MSL twice in the last 2 weeks. A decision has to be made soon on whether or not they played an unregistered player between October and February and in the process picked up 13 points. Will the points be deducted and given to College Corinthians, Everton, Douglas Hall, Bandon and UCC ? That is the $64,000 dollar question!!!!!Quote:

Had the linesmen not have had to withdraw injured he would have been sent off a lot earlier for kicking and throwing a punch from another corner, he made sure the ref couldnt see him. People always talk about him being such a nice quiet lad off the pitch, complete scumbag on it for years and years. Deserves a hefty ban.
On another note I always notice referees in these big games, the abuse and instruction they take from 2 teams in the league is unbelievable, last night Rockmount could curse, roar, call for things, point things out and all no problem, yes sir no sir... If A hall player even approached him it was the complete opposite. Find its always same with Avondale.. Do the refs like to be "in there" with the so called big boys?! Seems that way to me.

The management of Casement Celtic should be praised for what they have achieved this season. They have taken a team from the bottom to the top. They have provided the best of training facilities including sessions in the Mardyke Arena. Its not their fault that players couldn't be bothered turning up for training. Maybe you would like to take up managing a team yourself and see how easy it is . Somehow I doubt it.Quote:

Fermoy jnrs have had points taken off this season and last season without being able to "meet with the committee" once, let alone twice if that has indeed happened. If they played unreg'd player, mistakenly or knowingly then the same rules should apply. The current climate and man in charge acts first and asks questions afterwards so can't see why not in this case if it's correct to do so.
When will everyone know what the outcome will be on the Leeds situtation!!
That Leeds problem will be sorted when its sorted and I don't think needs misguided uninformed guess work from us.
El patron it's not only about the premier. The standard in the 1st division is decent this year and when you consider that while 2 teams have only 1 game left and the team with the most having 4 it's some achievement that 9 of the 10 teams still have something to play for. As only 6 points cover 1st to 4th while even tighter at the bottom with 2 on 16, 2 on 19 and ringmahon on 20 safe enough but needing one more win to be sure. Exciting end to the season guaranteed with carrigaline v mayfield next week to whet the appetite for the remainder of squeaky bum time.
Sorry only just saw castleview's result today which pushes them 9 points clear of 4th who can only tie as it stands and blarney who can only get to 33. So Congrats to them on their promotion to the premier (barring a miracle/ catastrophe). 👍🏆
The Leeds thing is sorted since Thursday night I'm hearing. And it was the MSL apparently who are at fault, Leeds requested a player to be taken off the form and the MSL took the wrong player off as both had the same surname. People calling for them to be relegated before ye know any of the facts about the situation is ridiculous really, innocent till proven guilty. Delighted for them not getting deducted points. Good club with good management and good players.

Wheels really seem to have come off for wilton, look a poor side! Cit not out if the woods yet either! Big win for tramore yesterday, getting players on the pitch seems to be their problem, can give anybody a game when they've bodies by the looks of things! A fermoy win vs mallow will make things very interesting, leaving 4 teams on 19 & mahon on 20!
