Carew struggled to beat us.............and Summerville "B" (Div 2A) beat Kilmallock (Prem) last week...........
There are definitely players playing lower league footy that would get on most Prem teams...........end of.

Ive played premier soccer for years and have seen it all, won munster junior cups, been relegated and played in division 1a for too long now. I think the standard is unbelievably poor, bar the top two teams at the moment who are streets ahead in every aspect of the game. I think they will do pretty well next year once they get promoted.
went down and watched prospect vs hill this mornin after readin thread yesterday 1 1 it finished prospect should have been 6 up by time prospect scored og in last minute hills keeper best player on field some of saves un believable
Cappamore-1 Shannon Town -2... good win for us fiery game cappamore wont give anything easy, a good three points.

Another cup exit by the fancied division 1a leaders. Although i do think they will get promoted i think Mungret will struggle in the premier league. To be honest with ya i do think had a few things been changed from this mornings game versus Janesboro that the result could have been different(starting players who don't train and leaving strong defencive players on the bench who are at training every tuesday and thursday to begin with)but to be honest with ya nothing has changed with that team.
Well done to Shannon town to keep the pressure on the top of the league, also to Geraldines goin through in the cup.
Croom 0-6 Pike rovers. Another result which shows the difference in class between the two divisions.
stop talking rubbish will you..you hardly expected a team who are second from bottom of 1a giving argueably the best team in limerick a run for their money..pike will beat some teams in the premier by similar scores throughout the season and have already.bit harsh judging 1a on this game.
As regards the mungret boro match..what players are u suggesting shouldnt have started?
This website is all about opinions and im just voicing mine and i'm sure there are alot of people who agree with some of these opinions.
And we'll just say one of the centre backs shouldn't have started, i'm surprised people knew his name from the lack of appearences he's made in training sessions. Its not as if the team is struggling for defenders with the likes of Eugene mc namara and others sitting on the bench looking on.
I'm not attacking any player, i happen to think that the player in question is a quality footballer. It's the management i'm putting the blame on, matters such as these have been brought up in previous seasons to no avail, it's no wonder mungret have lost players in the past and will continue to this season unless something changes.
Agreed, Toldo had a stormer and although Hill were lucky to get a point but we did deserved it, Great goal by Steven Kelly (Prospect).....what did you think of the Ref??? I think he was very bad and done neither team any favours although he is from the Prospect area I think he done them more favours than us, we should have had at least one penalty.
Thanks....things can only get better.

Star & Croom playing in the MJC.
pitch is getting a hard time at the moment with the new dual carriage way on the baggot and the newly developed pitch not ready on time i think its a credit to the groundsman to have kept it playable for all but one game, and 5 games a week at minimum going ahead
Does anyone know why the website www.limericksoccer.com hasnt been updated. Usually it is very up to date with the league tables and fixtures for all divisions.
I only saw 1 B team player playin with them last week....
