Officail attendance from Wexford Echo 824
Rovers V Bohs.......... 4206 official attendance.
Tonight was fantastic. Not just for the win but the atmosphere was class.
801 was the attn
Guessing about 1900 for Pats v Derry. Stand about 2/3 full = 1200, say 300 at the Shed end (including the open terrace), Camac was defo busier than usual so say 500 between the two parts. About 300 from Derry, of whom approx 250 had drums.
452 at Harps Athlone last night. Woeful, woeful crowd when the team is doing so well.
Incidentally my figure for the Kildare game was about 25 fewer than it should have been.
120 at Kildare v Kilkenny.
Wish I'd been there. Isn't that the second 3-3 between them this season?
Think so.
I wasn't there now; a poster here went to get out of going to a girly flick with the missus. :p
Around 1,600 for the Rovers -V- Longford game.
Are other clubs doing the same as rovers with posters for matches to download and stick up in pubs and work? On another note, below the review of rovers-bohs in the star today was an ad for the match! Idiots
Kcfc V Kcfc 180
about 800-900 at bray v waterford (maybe 10 waterford fans?)! i hope that is our last sunday afternoon game...
More than that. Perhaps the two people who posted here that actual know the ground have a better idea. Stand holds over 250, just over half full. Then people across the pitch and a decent crowd standing next to the stand against hoarding. 180 approx. I'd say, without a doubt it was around that.
I don't think European games included here but about up towards 2,500 at City v Vadur, lets say 2,300 to be on the safe side.
Picture of it here.
I make it 20 to the right of the 'tunnel', and squinting a lot it looks like 35X5 down the other end, totaling 195?
More than you'd ever see at a UCD game, that's for sure....! :p ;)
I'm the only one who ever bothers to post up our attendances here - despite having to go and ask people the figures first - and I haven't been on the site much recently.
Will make an effort to find out the games your missing and to start reporting back more regularly.
For us, it's Bohs then Rovers. Of the country teams, up to this year it's been Derry then Drogheda, order probably reversed this year - Drogheda brought about 1200 to Richmond for the Setanta semi, far less than that a couple of weeks later for the League game. Unless either we or Drogheda totally implode between now and then, I'd expect Richmond to be completely heaving on the last day of the season: Pats v Drogheda.
Wex v Dundalk: 742 official attendance
any number sfor Corks intertoto game?
Limerick V Shels official attendance= 801
