First goal for Plymouth today - in the highlights package I saw he looked fit and lively
Second of the season for Plymouth tonight, at home to bottom-of-the-table Portsmouth.
But he's been on the bench four of the last five games (including tonight) and didn't even come on in one of those games. All told, it looks like another disappointing season in the offing
It is only the start of November - but he's already found his way into the team and back out of it again, hasn't been performing particularly well (four <6 ratings on whoscored for example) and only two goals so far. It's not what we would have been hoping for, let's be honest.
Went off injured after 9 minutes today. Can't find anymore details
Groin injury per the Plymouth forum. Though that's from posts when he went off rather than any official confirmation later.
Well, he's lasted longer than Wayne Rooney anyway.
Wasn't in the squad the last two games since his injury; can't see a timeline on a return. 2 goals in 18 games isn't great - though their top scorer is on 3 in fairness.
Made his return from injury today, coming on for the last 18 minutes of a 2-2 draw with Bristol City with no real impact.
Jason Knight scored for City though, so that's something. First goal in three months, and only his second of the season. McNally and O'Leary also involved for them.
Returned to parent club Burnley, who have let Nathan Redmond and John Joe Shelvey go, made four of their five on-loan players permanent and are negotiating new contracts with Egan-Riley, Brownhill and Barnes (burnleyfootballclub.com). I wonder what's next for Obafemi, as Burnley return to the Premier League.
