Where's that then?
The thread is about attendances and people posted about the crowd figures. Not one Pats fan posted anything remotely gloating here

Im not sure about our attendance at our game against Drogs.
But from a rough guesstimation I would say about 1900.
Drogs brought a decent crowd, I would say something like 100, could be less was hard to see them from where I was positioned.
Ya, between 1800 and 1900 at the our game. Good crowd from Drogs.
Fair play to them they were still jumping around the place and signing when they were 4 or 5 down, and good crack with them in the pub after. fair play.
Averages after round 14. Official figures in bold. Club averages in bold means more than half of their figures are official.

Definitely less than 150 peering through the rain at Limerick and Waterford's reserve teams in the MSC last night.
Limerick - Barcelona attendance was a bit sparce, but, myself, Fran Gavin and John Delaney walked around the market fields doing a head count. We reckon it was around 14,999.
Too soon?
824 official figure Galway United versus UCD
another atrocious crowd in Flancare tonight VS Monaghan id say just around 150 but can you blame them for not coming its bad really bad.
DLK FM reported a crowd of 1,700 for the Sligo game tonight.
About 2,100 in Inchicore tonight apparently. Looked a little more but there you go. Shame too as it was an epic game (not in terms of quality mind)
2,168 officially. I'm told 650ish Bohs fans
1078 Waterford v Cork
Just under 3500 at tallaght
Ye the last 20 minutes was brilliant end to end stuff :D Yous played us off the park at times in the game but it was a good game all round. . Mannus' double save was amazing
It's not a random figure, it was the number passed up to the press box, but it was qualified as a 'paid in' figure as it was passed on, which I thought strange at the time.
Up to now this year we've been using the total figures (used to be just paid-ins), but Frosty is right, there was more there last night. I'd have said ca 1300, which would be in the ball park if season tix were added.
Also, another possibility is that there would have been a good few people there before ever the count was put on the gate too. I got to the ground about 6.15 (not normally that early but went straight from work), and there was already 50+ cars in the car park at that stage, before the gate crew got on station (municipal ground, gates are open all day beforehand).
As far as I know we don't count season tickets and concession tickets. 1078 is probably the paying gate. Which is unfortunate as it really takes the gloss from a few of our attendances. 1400 minimum inside the ground last night.
140 at Longford-Monaghan on extratime
608 in Tolka according to extratime
Could well be, we have been doing that this year up to now, which is why I was surprised to hear last night's figure called out as a 'paid-in'.
Just to back up Frosty's headcounting skills BTW, very accurate shout on the Foras attendance, there were exactly 315 of them there!
60 tops at Salthill v Harps. Very weird watching senior football where the players are noisier than the crowd.
No way was there just 1,078 at the RCS last night. There was more like 1400-1500. The West Stand was nearly full (1150) and there were 300 ****ies in the East Stand. WUFC only count paying attendances not season tickets or concessions which made up another 2-300.
definitely more than 1,078 there last night!
Oh good, yet another riveting installment of the bi annual Waterford United attendances row.
Will ye sort yourselves out down there, how hard can it be to count what are fairly paltry crowds??
Must be the only club in Europe that don't include season ticket holders in the attendance.
Of course, I realise a lot of your figures on here, like a lot of the first division clubs on here are probably pure fantasy.
39,586 at The Brandywell last night.
Not really, just add one :)
100 max at Mervue vs Athlone
Athlone brought about 50
