Would you say that Coleman is ahead of Foley for the right back spot? Or ahead of McGeady or Hunt for the spot on the wing? I would have liked Coleman to come on, but the circumstances dictated that Trapattoni play it safe as it were, by sticking with his more experienced heads. He probably felt that having Cunningham, and Coleman in a defence with O'Shea and Kelly in the middle would have been too inexperienced. Saying that, if Trap had put Wilson in CB he could have replaced Kelly with Coleman later on in the game. Or alternatively, he could have stuck Coleman on for Duff and put McGeady out on the left, but Trap has said that he doesn't see Coleman as a winger. Strange enough.
