He is waiting on an operation on his shoulder. An accident thats not sport related. Bad luck. Great player. Be hugely missed.

Give it a rest you two is boardering on slander at this stage can any one shed light on the Everton situation at the moment, heard Austin o Connor is the manager if so great choice an excellent coach I believe.
Never a boaring session if Austin takes training thats for sure!
He has being there the last few years though that's the only thing I'd be worried about will he be able to turn things around?? He's part of the management that was there last few years so what's gonna change?? No doubht he's a top coach but as manager we have to wait and see!! Is he on his own or what??
That chip finally took it's toll.....:)
On a serious note hope it goes ok for him, great player....
Good luck to Austin up in Everton. I'm sure he'll bring his own ideas, they need a result soon though...on a bad run at the moment and have Mount at home on Sunday.
Some interesting games at the weekend lads how do ye see them going I think they will all be fairly close here Very hard to call
Enough of this rubbish el nino and mary, next one stepping out of line here gets a ban.
Has this thread gone funny a lot of stuff seems to be repeated and a few posts gone missing about results for the fore coming weekend
What's the game of the weekend lads?? Cors v UCC for me anyway!!
Ya I noticed that. Thanks razor
Midleton 2 st Mary's 2 full time .
Midleton were 2 up so a good point for Mary's to come from 2 down . Midleton will be disappointed not to win this game especially with a 2 nil lead.
Poor first half. Then 4 goals in 15 mins at start of second half. You could see Mary's hadn't played for a while but probably had better chances to win it the end. Would've been harsh on Midleton though as they worked hard. I think they'll be ok, going to be very tight down there though. Fierce work going on in Mary's Pk, like a building site! Floodlights and new all weather. Fine standing area on far side now as well. Good to see.. Think city beat Avondale 3-1...
Big win for fermoy in Ringmahon park. Even enough in the first half with plenty of half chances. Few good long range efforts from the away side and Ringmahon threatening from there throw ins.
Fermoy took the lead early in second half with a pen....Alan Mcormack brought down in the area by there keeper. Ringmahon pushed on for the equaliser with mostly long balls, there left winger was also lively carrying the ball to the line but not many quality crosses. Ringmahon hit the crossbar in the last twenty and fermoy cleared one or two off the line, mick Devine dealt well with the throw ins in the second half. Fermoy had plenty of chances to wrap up the game late on but they couldn't find the composure.
Any score frrom Ucc game ?
Everton 0 Rockmount 3. 3 up at half time.
Went to the Everton Rockmount game. It was as one sided as you will see. Everton are in deep trouble and will do well to stay up.
Everton so poor this morning it was painful to watch. Always used to give rockmount tough hard but clean games but rolled over this morning like a puppy. Looks like terry Connolly got out just in time. No wonder Sean cotter and Pearce Celtic manager didn't take over
Looks to me that Ucc and Avondale will fight it out for the league . With the players Everton have lost and the youngsters coming in and change of management there in trouble they don't seem to have the fire power up front. Haven't scored in last few games an backline seems to be leaking goals.
From what i seen today the left back didnt want to be there and everton manager took him off when they were 3 down and centre half didnt come back out in second half either.it looked like to me is everton practicully started wit 9 men that wanted to play and no matter wat team you are if you dont have people committed in the top leagues you will get found out and those players did today.. Plenty of matches left and i think that everton will turn there last few weeks around!
Can anyone tell me who got the rockmount goals today please? Few junior players playing I hear
Was there today I missed the first 10 minutes by that stage mount were 2up.
Great penalty save from Brendan rather then a bad penalty which could have been a game changer if it went in.
Penalty down the opposite end then game over.
I hope Everton stay up been honest it just looks like there lacking confidence and being a young team it's a major thing.
How did game go? What way do Cors look? They have Been quiet since their keane cup victory. Are they relegation contenders?
They beat Avondale away last week, have the Keane Cup in the bag, semi final of Donie Forde Cup and all of a sudden people are questioning if they are relegation contenders. Absolutely not even do they will be disappointed to have lost 3 of their first 4 league game ( 1 v mount and 1 v Ucc) which are tough games.
I'd expect them to shoot up the league when they have a few more league games under their belt. Expect a top 4 finish behind 1 Avondale 2 Ucc and 3 Rockmount.
tramore 1-0 carrigaline, lackluster display from carrigaline, duly punished by hard working tramore side
Forget the cups, the league is where it's at. Wins are hard to come by in the Premier League and a bad start can be hard to claw back. They are too good to be there but the likes of Midleton, Everton, Bandon etc all have their heads ready for a long hard battle. They will target games with Corinthians like cup finals to keep them involved in the scrap...
That's what I mean calling upon the clubs junior sides to help them out is a bit silly?? None of them are a great junior side to be fair... I hope Everton stay up some good people up there that love that club but personally I can see them going down I'm afraid!!
Rockmounts team was mostly youths and juniors today aswel but didn't stop them handing out a beating to a poor Everton team
