no - the only public statements were that the transfer was a loan "with a view to a permanent deal". I'm sure it will happen if West Ham stay up but to say that Robbie has no choice is incorrect. In fact, West Ham could also change their minds and decide they don't want to complete the transfer so it's quite possible that Robbie could be back at training with Spurs in July.Quote:

Exactly what I said above. The news story today was because it was the first time Robbie had mentioned that he'd be happy to stay on next season.
Yeah, my point was that 'arry had made mention of the fact that he had no use for Keane and pushed to have that clause in the contract, not the other way around. Keane coming out and saying that he'd be happy to stay on next season should they stay up is not surprising, what else is he going to do, spend another season in the Spurs reserves?Quote:

Took it very well. Ashley Young too slow getting out from a corner and played him onside - smashed it in on the turn from about 5 yards.
Only going by what I heard on the radio but sounds like poor defending, good finish. Really hope he has a strong end to the season.

Quality isn't great, makes it hard to call if he was onside or not. Nice finish either way though.

Actually, if you stop the video on 12 seconds, there's a player on the far side of the 6 yard area playing Keane on when the ball is headed back into the box.
we got the first half hour of the game here this morning. He was definitely onside. A yard or two. Nice finish but all the perplexing Keane traits were on display for the rmainder of the half. The channel switched over to the originally scheduled Wigan Blackpool game for the rest. I would say Keane is a very frustrating player to play with.

In fairness West Ham were dreadful, particularly in the second half. They barely strung three passes together, missed Parker quite a bit. Their only idea was to hit it long to Cole, with Keane playing quite deep in behind him which I found quite odd - seemed like manager's orders as opposed to his doing - since he was getting a decent bit of success in the first 15 pulling Villa's defenders around.Quote:

Robbie started today and just missed a sitter after being played through one-on-one with Hart. Tried to dink it over the keeper but Hart managed to block it. Probably could and should have done better.
And West Ham have just scored to make it 2-1 to Manchester City now. Robbie had a part to play in heading on a cross that then bounced down off Lescott's arm in the box and into Ba's path who fired it home.
i just hope he can repeat that piece of magic for Ireland!!! :D :D :DQuote:
