Innish 0 Coachford 3 fair play to Coachford got the win in a tough but fair game . A very good free kick to go 1 up a mistake at the back cost us a second goal and a great strike from about 40 yards to make it 3 nil . Lot to play for yet we have 2 games left and coachford have 2 games so could go to a play off for second spot if we both win our last two games .

Tower 3-0 against killumney. Tower still unbeaten, unbelievable back four at tower, very few conceded. One game left next Saturday against coachford to complete an unbeaten league season. Can't see coach ford having enough to breach that tower defence
Massive achievement for the tower lads after finishing second bottom last 2 years. Got a few of their players back which made a difference to them. It just goes to show what can be done if a club can get the attitude right and work hard every week. To go unbeaten in any league is a massive achievement. Spoke to one of their players recently and I was told that they train hard every tue and thu and most of the players do a few days in the gym also. They certainly reaped the rewards for all the hard work they put in. Think they will end coachford's hopes of getting second place next week and finish unbeaten. Congrats lads. Some top players and top men involved out there.

what has happenend to bweeng schoolboy?? winning all round them at the start of the season now they cant seem to buy a win ?!?!
Good result for inishvilla heard they went down a goal early in game good character to come back and score 4 away from home was it all plain sailing old legs
I didn't make game due to work commitments but from what I heard was a tough game and we found back of the net something we didn't do against coachford
That's it bud goals win games as they say
Ya goals win games but if you can't keep them out at the other you're wasting your time. All league winning teams will have a solid back line to build from. Innishvilla have some good players but conceding too many goals has probably cost them from mounting any kind of league challenge. They will still get a play off to go up though and if they can keep it tight at the back they will be hard to stop. They have a fair bit of experience which should see them promoted. If the first team go up too it will be a great year for the club.

Congratulations to,knockraha, crescent athletic, knocknaheeny Celtic, tower,Waterloo and carrigtwohill united on winning their respective leagues, the cream always rises to the top and these sides deservedly won their leagues.just the matter of the league one title to be sorted best of luck to kanturk and rylane Celtic in the playoff on Saturday.a special mention to fairview who can count themselves unlucky not to have the division won, they were a break of a ball and a bit of Luck short from beating rylane last Saturday to clinch the division.
Well lads leagues are nearly finished who would ye say are the biggest let downs this season out of each division and before ye give out i dont mean let downs in a bad way but who would ye of expected more from out of the teams ye have seen?
Its a good question but would it be better for teams to comment on their own seasons and then add your comment to the end?
We didnt know what to expect really in our first year in Division 1, but knew by our players that we shouldnt be too far away. To go 13 wins in a row from the start was surreal. To win 3 or 4 of the next 13 was surreal also. Overall, the season would be seen as disapointing after the start we had. However, a squad change of that magnitude will only be good longterm. We gave debuts to 10 or 11 players. Average age of the squad has shifted from late 20s to early 20s so reasonably happy is the overall feeling clubwise I think. W
We didnt know much about Strand/Rylane. Anyone who finished above Fairview was gonna win it or go close. I thought Bohs/Glenvale/Lakewood would find things tough. Kanturk are Kanturk - never easy. Rylane were probably the best team we faced - down there anyway. They lost 5 or 6 points through an admin error so would have ended top. Could be a division of 6 or 7 Norries next year - taht will be fun!!
Fairview for me were a bit of a disappointment. They seem to be there or there abouts every year but struggle to get over the line. Lost a cup final to a poor team and got a reprieve in the league but didn't make it count. Good side and I expected them to go up. Leeview I think have a big advantage playing on astro and I expected them to up easy enough but no such luck, few handy players up there too who could have their heads turned now. Stayed loyal on the back of a promotion but might not now that they haven't gone up this year. Don't think anyone had much of a chance in knocka and Glenn's league, both were bankers to go up. Surprised with Waterloo in 3 but don't think there's much in that league. Pearse should have been good enough to get at least a play off but again they are probably disappointed at that. Thought innishvilla would be a bit stronger considering who they have. Also surprised at how strong tower were considering where they finished last few years.
Bit harsh really, Although not winning the league is hard to digest Fairview were a bit of luck away from winning on Saturday. Anyone who was at the game would agree. Rylane were on top in the first half but were camped in their own half for the second half. Apart from the odd break Rylane didn't pose any threat. Fairview had some real chances that any other day would've gone in but this day wasn't to be. It wasn't helped either when two stone wall penalties were denied. Fairview drew twice with Rylane and beat Kanturk twice this season and these are the two teams in contention for the league title Saturday. Regarding the recent cup final, not taking anything away from Strand they took their chances but Fairview played some lovely football and could've won it in normal time. After the past week Fairview will now need to focus on the City Challenge Semi-Final on Sunday v Lakewood. Given Lakewood's recent form this should be a cracking game with both teams fighting for a place in the final.
If that's the case then they must have dropped a lot of stupid points throughout the season. In which case they didn't deserve to win it. I'm not disrespecting them one bit, I think they are a good side but maybe attitude must be questioned when they always seem to just be there or there about without really winning much. With the players they have they are well able to be a mid table prem a team
Very hard to comment on any club season been a let down unless your directly involved with the club in question, numerous factors determine the outcome of any team/club season, commitment, luck, injuries and suspensions to name but a few.as a neutral I watched both of the games involving fairview against strand in the cup final and against rylane in the league as I mentioned in a previous statement they lacked a slice of luck at vital times in both games. They've an excellent side and I know it doesn't feel like it now but they can take pride from they're season challenging on all fronts in the business end of the season. In Jason forde they probably have one of the best midfielders playing outside of the premier league.

Well that pretty much assures Innishvilla the play-off spot. 1 game left for Innishvilla & Coachford, Innish 3 points clear so a point or more from home game v Los Zarcos secures it & Coachford would still need to beat the unbeaten Tower to force Innish to need a point...
Coachford 2 losses to Waterloo in the last few weeks have been huge in this battle for 2nd... Also strangely Innishvilla v Coachford played 3 times, finished 3:0 in all 3 games, (2 wins for Coachford)...
Coachford didn't deserve to go up, they couldn't even give tower a decent game lost 6-1 and 3-0 , and got the 3-0 game blown early for fear of another hammering. At least innishvilla tried their best to make the tower games some way competitive. Congrats innishvilla
The cream always rises to the top.
Could have called the 1 and 2 in that league 2 months into season.
I was fairly shocked coachford beat innish well lately but fair dues to them.
They threw it away though losing twice to waterloo after doing the hard part!!
No doubting innish are a good side but iv a feeling theyl struggle in the round robin. Anytime this season theres been pressure on they havnt delivered.
i hope for there sake im made eat my words.....
Just cause they didn't give tower a game means nothing! Tower beat all before them!
Coachfotd beat innish twice so can feel very hard done by! The games against Waterloo cost them had they won those at worst they would have been in a playoff with innish
