I've offered it to dfx(as he's already assistant and one of the longest serving managers) but he'd prefer someone else getting it so Mr A, it's all yours.

his first action will be to re-name the league the cool-dog appreciation league!!
Ok. Now what happens?
Do people want me to boot the inactives and make it one division or go on some form of recruiting drive?
Currently we have 18 members. 13 are active (as in have been online within the past month).
If 3 more could be tempted 2 divisions of 8 is probably about the ideal.
Lads, if you know anyone who might join give them this link and I'll accept them: http://www.xperteleven.com/?lid=43871
Right. Two divisions of 8. Two teams not currently being actively being managed but reminders are sent.
Good luck everyone!
Keep manners about you or 4 of the last 5 will be away as well. :p
The fixture computer does seem to be a bit mental in fairness.
I'll probably regret this, but...
What's involved in this? How much time, for example? Do you have to be online for games or is it a case that if you don't log on at all in the previous week, your existing settings carry forward to the next game? How long's a season too?
Maybe this would be a good time for an explanatory post for the vaguely curious?
It's quite simple actually. You can take it casually and spend just 2 minutes setting tactics for your games or go in depth and spend longer. The game is set up quite good in that regard as it caters for the casual player and the more serious player. And you don't have to be online for the matches.
Is thre a code to join the league? Sure I might take over one of the inactive spots for a while anyway; see what's involved.
Use this: http://www.xperteleven.com/?lid=43871
There is one inactive team so you can take them over :)
Done.
Right. You are now manager of Gormanstown Drogs. Feel free to change the team name by going to Team Settings.
Welcome aboard.
By the way guys, all I can do is choose how many divisions there are, I can't influence which teams end up in them. I know it sucks for those teams denied promotion though.
Ah yes...tactics would've been useful...
Mr stu, read the rules for a good and reasonably short indication of what to do. Two big things, generally offensive at home and cautious away unless you look deeper and want ot spend more time at the game and the average age of teh team and squad should be as close to 26 as possible. That drastically impacts the team..
