Given the group we had been given, Rosenborg probably were the easiest draw (assuming it is them)! I'm not buying that Suduva would have been easier, their recent record suggests they'll likely beat Red Star anyway.
Very tough draw for Dundalk too, but don't look past Larnaca. They're as good as any Sturm Graz!

Just saw the goals from Cork/Legia there. Shocking stuff really. All three were pretty awful errors. Cherry has been getting all the blame for the first, and he was poor, but Christ, how much time did they give the guy on the balll in the middle of the pitch to put in the cross ? Then a terrible pass in midfield to put the guy through for the second, and Damien Delaney made an awful effort at tracking and trying to tackle his man for the third, particularly bad flora someone who was playing in the Premier league in England until recently.
Assuming Cork City's home tie is played at Turner's Cross and is a sell-out regardless of who they face, is there actually any significant financial benefit to playing Celtic over Rosenborg? I know it would be hyped a lot as the "glamour tie", but would there be any option to actually earn, say, extra TV money? I guess you could argue that it could lead to increased long-term interest in the club, but then meeting Juventus and Spurs in two seasons hasn't led to Rovers selling out Tallaght regularly in the long-term
Bigger tv money plus opportunity to get some corporates in for a dinner and ticket combo to make extra money.....extra pitchside advertising plus good incentive to get your existing sponsors to think that money spent on loi isn't completely for charity and a waste of time.

We apparently sold close to 3k tickets for the third round last night during our game against Derry. There were non stop queues right through the game. I missed Delaneys goal as I saw the queues had died down so ran down quickly to grab some for my group.

Rosenborg are a good team, but Cork should have absolutely no fear of them if they end up playing them. Last year they needed their goalkeeper to make a brilliant save to deny McMillan and a another save to tip a Kilduff strike on to the bar in extra-time to prevent them from being dumped out.
Rosenborg are currently 2nd in the Norwegian table, and the 3rd place team (Molde) lost to bloody Glenavon a few weeks ago. They gave them a bit of a thumping in the 2ng leg out in Norway, but still, Glenavon!
And Rovers proved last week that Irish sides can mix it with the top Scandanavian teams no problem. All it takes is belief, and cut out the brain-fart mistakes that seem to dog us in Europe so often.
