don't think cha has signed he is out for rest of season with foot injury , he signed for Olympic a year or so back only played a couple of games and hard to judge him on that

Prego Menswear Clare Cup Round 3 Draw
Tulla Utd A V Bridge Utd B or Sporting Ennistymon A
Newmarket Celtic A V Rineanna Rovers or St Pats
Treaty Celtic V Bridge Utd A
Moher Celtic V Inch Crusaders or Newmarket Celtic B
Hermitage A V Bunratty Cratloe
Turnpike Rovers V Ennis Town A
Avenue Utd A V Lifford A
Ruan Utd V West Clare FC
Anything goes in the cup but your right most premier teams will be happy with that draw. Turnpike v ennis town will be tasty clash. Would expect a very strong quarter final line up for clare cup this year
Good draw for premier teams. Cant see Lifford beating Avenue if Avenue are back to full strength when the game comes along. If Rineanna get through their 2nd round game their match up with Newmarket garners interest although I expect Newmarket will firmly want to put them back in their place after their previous encounter. Sporting have the ability to beat Tulla if they get by the Bridge B while the Ennis Town v Turnpike game should be fiesty with a large proportion of both sides made up of Eire Og players.
Predictions:
Sporting
Newmarket A
Bridge A
Newmarket B
Tage A
Rock
Avenue
Ruan
how is it irrelevant other peoples records especaily when thay are a lot worse than caseys ... now barred from playing gaa is irrelevant on a clare league soccer forum .. i may be wrong here but i think this is his first time being sent of in two seasons in clare league ? not a bad record talking of loose cannons a certain long time avenue player has a lot worse record and a few newmarket lads and finally lifford keeper now he's a loose cannon :D
Agree with this plenty of loose cannons out there, Damian just didnt want to be there on sunday it was clear everytime he got the ball, tried rounding a player twice luckily once it worked and the other he got away with. Dont know what were going to do for a keeper now, cant see Russell coming back after "retiring", Burren at the weekend again hopefully they arent our bogey team:p
What Newmarket lads are loose cannons?
I dont know this player but I dont think you should be proclaiming what an amateur player is barred from on a public forum with posts under an alias
It appears Avenue have got the points for their match against Corofin. If my maths are up to scratch it looks like they were awarded a 3-0 win. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Yep Avenue were awarded a 3 nil. I think thats the standard result for walkovers. Supp doesnt make much diff when the league isnt decided on goal diff.
Thanks for that, probably the right decision. Fair play to Newmarket at the weekend, the whole county will be behind them for the semi final. Some great cup fixtures also! Thank feck the Sunday Soccer is back before everyone lost interest.
Yep could be a very strong quarters for cup. Pitches seem to be getting back to normal. As they say great drying out there last few days :-)
Don't think Corofin were docked any points for giving that walkover ?
I see in the paper Eoin Hayes and John Mulready got trails for Irish Amatuer nations cup team. What team is that? Anyone have info on it?
Did the Clare OT v Carew Pk go ahead last Wednesday night??
S kelly got Clares goal. Pa boyle got winner for carew from penalty spot with a few mins left. Not sure who got the first carew goal. Decent friendly, carew a fine side. Very lively front 2
No mcgrath played right mid i think, was grant and connerry.
Bridge Utd 3 - 1 Hermitage
I know I've often been critical of referees on here in the past but I saw Niall Quinn ref a game yesterday and I thought he was excellant, pity he can't do premier games.
Avenue 5 Lifford Nil
Any score in Shannon Olympic's match?
Won 5 nil. Good result.
Game was awful, sad reflection on Clare soccer. Maybe we should limit the amount of teams we have?
