Nice to see a local lad getting a go in League of Ireland ,IMO he is very hot and cold but when he is on his game he is very good,hopefully will improve playing at a higher level

Gary Shanahan. He was going to sign for athlone town but he signed for Dundalk fc instead

fair play to the young fella. Playing with Dundalk will be a huge step up . Great to see junior players get a chance to prove themselves at a higher level

Looks like Askeaton are in big trouble, Lost a Centre back to Dromore Celtic and a Midfielder to St Pats in the district league, Anybody know who the players are? They are definitely going down and probably wont stay in division one either. Its a terror a big town of Askeaton's stature cant get a semi decent team out, whats going on? A long way from the days they were in a munster junior final!!! Pity great facilities too

It's ironic that after reaching the Premier after a number of years absence that they start losing lots of players for various reasons.
Anyone know what the story with Shauntrade is ? Bottom of Division 4 with only 1 point and only B teams to compete with.

I think half the Askeaton first team now live in Australia or other countries....its a problem in every club nowadays but they have been hit harder than most....

Great win for Broadford 1-1 afer only a few mins and stayed like that until haf time...first half was very scrappy both teams giving away the ball a lot but the second half Broadford dominated and were well worth the win....I thaught Corrib were average enough gave the ball away a lot....there keeper was very good pulling off a few good saves Ray Lynch was very good scoring 2 and shaughnessy got the third I think.... well done to all involved and the pitch was in excellent condition....

Whats going wrong with Shannonside there slipping a bit and I heard a few players have left them recently aswell....

Broadford and Carrig should advance this wekend.... but Shannonside have it tough against one of the best teams around best of luck to all involved....

Ya heard there's a few people leaving shannonside alright.played carrig celtic in a friendly and James Downey has signed for carrig from shannonside and also another player might be heading there also.carrig and broadford should advance to next round but can't see shannonside beating carrick united..
