Bad signing...he'l' end off going to Athlone behind your backs!:D
Oh more players Dundalk are connected with...hopefully Moran doesnt materialise!
"Dundalk boss Sean Connor is poised to make moves for Newry City midfielder Mickey Collin and Dungannon Swifts striker Mark McAlister. Connor has also offered Newry hotshot Kyle Moran a trial with the club". [The Irish Sun]

Kyle Moran - the white Pele?
:D
City boss Gerry Flynn launched a blistering attack on his striker Kyle Moran while Seaview supremo Stephen Baxter confirmed that his skipper Colin Coates would not be signing for Linfield this month.
However, the steam was coming from Flynn’s ears as he explained why former Derry City frontman Moran had slipped off his Christmas card list.
“There is one particular player who will not be here come Saturday – Kyle Moran,” said Flynn. “I’ll be making a decision and speaking to the board. His attitude absolutely stinks and I don’t want him anywhere near the club.
“Come Monday at the latest he won’t be here because he’s not the sort of player I want here. I would be surprised if another club come in for him, especially after they hear what I have to say. He was at Manchester United and he thinks he’s Pele but I don’t want him near the club. "
Chris Turner now heavily linked with us...according to the Irish Sun.
Connor said in last weeks Dundalk Argus that hes verbally agreed a deal with 5 players who will remain anonomous until they put pen to paper...he is also calling a press conference for the 8th to unveil ONE new player!must be a "big" name signing if hes calling a press conference!:D

His name's Donal Greene, I heard about that thing with Drogheda, think he was sacked over that!
Is he any good though? Must be ok if he's been in England
How's Gareth Farelly's recovery going by the way?

Turner was maybe still is a serious talent, he was very promising when he came first then under was a class act but fell to bits when he moved to Bohs for whatever reason. He should have been good enough to make at Partick but obviously has not. He will deffo be going to Dundalk could be a very good signing although seems like he has not played well in the a year and a half.
Hes still only 18 or 19 i think, not a bad keeper at all if he gets is head down,
attitude may be questionable at times though. I reckon with a run of games he would do well. I think hes better than Neil Gallagher anyway. I do know he has a full time job in dublin though so im not sure how his travelling would work!
Donal Greene was with us for the past few seasons came up through the yth set-up He was third choice keeper, he was released last summer and moved to spain recently i heard he came home and had trials with Drogheda.

Moran is a disgraceful character. Dundalk will be relegated if Connor signs fools like him.
Probably McDaid from Derry would be the other one.
Haven't heard of Beckett signing, and hopefully it'll stay that way the useless parasite.
Unlikely both Kildare and Drogheda will be in the league.
We'll have some amateurs presumably, but won't be fully amateur.
Should have read Kildare/Drogs.
Also, I think Mervue have already said they'll be amateur.
Can't see Harps being fully amateur but certainly the wagebill will be small. Ironically there will probably be Ulster Senior League clubs offering better money than we will...
From today's Irish News, Linfield have had several offers for McHugh turned down as they haven't met our board's valuation for him.
Coleman has been asked for a 2nd trial with Birmingham. They have made an offer too.
Jay O'Shea's move to Derby stalled as P.Jones was sacked so apparently he had a game with Birmingham Reserves last night and they have matched Derby's offer(375k).
Funny he was released by Bray this time last year was'nt he?!and now hes worth 375K a year on!
correct.
Also, birmingham havent offered anything for Jay but they are very happy with him. Do I think hes worth €375000 or whatever the rumoured price tag is? Definitely not seeing the price that Fahey and McGinn went for, But hey, if we can get it, fair play ! :)
Dundalk Argus says Shaun Kelly from Hearts and Fabio are to be announced tomorrow or Thursday, and that trials have been offered to Kyle Moran (as we know!) and a Geordie called Dwight Barrett who plays for an American club called Crusaders!
