I'm sure some people remember how worried I was about certain clubs' attendances a few years ago, but really, I don't know if we can really read too much into the public figures given from a Health and Safety perspective.Quote:

Bank Holiday weekend always affects attendance,
FAI & Press more interested in International team based in Cork,
Poor advertisement,
Warm weather attractions,
Live on Setanta TV,
Avondale v UCC MSL league deciding clash on same night at 7pm will take potential floating soccer fans away,
Cork floating fan not attracted by Cork style,
A Cork win will still leave Dundalk on top by a point.
I'd have a stab at 1,500 at the Derry-Bray game. ET have it as 1k, but it was certainly more than that.

A rather disappointing figure of 1,671 in Finn Park for Harps v Sligo. Looked a lot more. Good crowd up from Sligo of around 400.
