This season, he'd be in the top 3.
Last season, he wouldnt have been in my top 20

I can only go on what I've seen and I haven't seen enough of Quigley. Plenty of people picked Dan Murray had centre half this season but he was very poor against Derry at the Brandywell this season.
Its very easy to do up ratings for each player to find out the best player's at each club. Just give 3 points for a win and 1 point for a draw and record the number of minutes they were on the pitch. That way you what players are good and what players are bad. For example; you will probably find that when Drogs are missing their number 1 goalkeeper that their average performances drops. And when Shane Robsinson is misssing it drops further.
Anyway, I haven't doen it yet so here is my guess at the team of the year:
-------------------- Barry Murphy (Shams) -------------------
O Heary (Bohs) -- Gartland (Drogs) ---- O'Cearuill (Pats) ---Shelley (Drogs)
Robsinson (Drogs) -- Fahy (Pats) ---- Byrne (Drogs) ----- Brennan (Bohs)
---------------- Mooney (Cork) ---------- Quigley (Pats)

OK, that just probably shows how little I've seen of Behan this season:o. I'd probably put Mark Quigley in if I were picking the best 11 performing players in the league but if I was picking a team to represent the league, I'd swap Behan for Thomas Stewart. Although he's newly arrived at Brandywell, he has made a big impact and I think he'd play well with Dave Mooney.
Healys been more impressive than Gamble this season for me.
Ryan Guy looks alright (as a footballer that is). Better than JP Kelly I would say and on a par with Robbo of Drogs for that right wing spot.
The inform right winger in the league is Niall McGinn at Derry imo. Not even a mention of him on this thread. Wheras Owen Morrison gets mentioned and he cannot get into our team at the minute. I woudn't swap McGinn for any winger in the league and his only going to get better.
