I amn't stan :)
But I'll find out
Stan was given official credit for the goal.
Dave McMillan on up front; Paul O'Connor came on in midfield
limerick game is actually on tomorrow, in case anyone was heading down on sunday based on what's on the website....
4-3 loss to Limerick - long trip home without any points :(
Seven points from Cork, Bray and Pat's and we lose to pointless Limerick? Wierd!
Who scored?
Tell the ref. ;)
That's what was on the FAI mail out during the week anyway.
Ref apparently a bit of a homer but at the end of the day if you concede 4 you deserve to lose.
Team was:
Billy
Seán RB
Mick CB
Stan CB
Enda LB
Mick RW
Greg CM
Tuts CM
Timmy LW
Dave CF (sub Ciaran)
Darren
Darren scored 2 and Billy got a peno. UCD were 4-1 down at one point.
Bray 3-4 Cobh
Pat's 2-0 Galway
Cork 8-1 Tullamore

Sure you're not.:p
Cheers.
Another question for you (or anyone else who might know the answer). Do you know if the following players are still with the club:
Scott Weir
Eoin O'Cinneide
Shane Flynn
Also who's this Ciaran fella that came on against Limerick?
Beat Cobh 5-0 today.
Timmy and Kelly got a goal each. That's all I know.
great win - cobh had some massive stockings playing for them and I thought they'd give a stronger test. I have to say I've never heard refs be given such direct verbals in a game. Maybe it was the small crowd but they really didn't help their cause in a game which seemed fairly reffed to me anyway. I left 10 minutes in to the second half at 2-0 for my own football game but it after UCD went 2-0 up it only really looked like going one way.
I guess it's always hard travelling far for a game but if I was reffing I would have shown a few more cards.
Cheers !
Current table as I make it BTW.

Oh yeah. Though they were still undefeated!
Who's this Nangle guy?
Conor Nangle, I think (can't remember his first name, even though Maccer told me...) No other info though.
Today's game was cancelled, presumably because of the rain.
We beat Tullamore 8-0 over the weekend. :)
Anyone know the team/scorers?
Have asked Maccer.
What were the other results?
John Reilly and John O'Neill both got hat tricks. Can't remember who else.
Harding and Bolger.
Galway won 2-1 in Cobh. Lims v Pat's was off, and I've heard nothing from Bray v Cork.
Bray beat Cork 1-0. http://soccerway.com/national/irelan...p/2008/group-2
Tullamore match report: http://www.offalyexpress.ie/sport/La...ore.4424051.jp
It was 1-0 at half time?!
I've only noticed we are due to play Cork City away (Bishopstown) the same weekend as the Friday 26/09/08 game at Turner's Cross.
Add Value To Your Away Day!
Might pop along to that so!
Wonder will the A Team support the senior team?
Anyways, league table as I make it at the half-way stage (two games postponed) -

Don't know who scored in the 2-0 Shield win over Bray.
Drew 1-1 against Bray; Billy Brennan got a 92nd minute peno.
Pat's beat Cobh 2-0 to draw level with us at the top. Galway beat Tullamore 4-0 and Cork beat Limerick 3-1 (our defeat in Limerick is looking more and more incredible as the weeks go by!). Is it top four get through? Can't see Cork lasting the pace if their first-teamers are all leaving; important to beat Galway in our game in hand.

My, you're a narky hoor.
Drew 1-1 in Galway today. Brian King scored in the 94th minute. A team having the luck the seniors need in the last couple of weeks. Pat's beat Tullamore 4-0.
