Barry Ryan, ex Limerick, and a few other clubs striker, played senior football for Limerick a few years back.
Sean Malee once of Galway United played abit for Mayo a few years back and Johnny Glynn was the Clare hurling team physical trainer under Anthony Daly.
Eoin Quigley plays for the Wexford hurlers now having played centre half for Bohemians as a teenager.
Ben Brosnan and Eric Bradley played for the Youths last year and are now with the Gaelic footballers.
Cian Mackey played for us last year while also playing GAA for Cavan at county level.
Colin O Brien won an AI minor medal with Cork in 93. Played with the 21s too afaik.
Former City player Damien Delaney who's now with QPR was a Cork minor also.
Former Donegal GAA goalkeeper Tony Blake played for Finn Harps and Derry City afaik
Sean Kelly played with Mayo u21s,then went pro with us and now in his second spell with Longford afaik
shane barret played a season for the meath senior team 2 or 3 years ago. gary rodgers used to be on the meath u-21 panel.
Shay Kelly played for Offaly minors, and maybe for the seniors as well.
Ken Kilmurray's dad was Offaly senior manager, if that counts.

What about Keith Barr who, I think, scored a rocket against portsmouth (maybe even a hat trick???) for shels in a pre-season friendly?
Don't know if he had white boots or whether or not he is crazy but he played half a season with us under Tommy Cassidy, he was very young at the time. He currently features for the Fermanagh County team as well as playing for Dungannon Swifts (I think) in the Irish League.Quote:

He drove to Dublin that evening to get to the celebrations. I was on my way from the bar to the jacks and bumped into him on his way into the lobby.

Met Adrian recently, he's not playing any ball at all as he has some kind of lung complaint. He's hoping to get back to soccer next year although that could have just been pub talk! Andy Moran of Mayo was on the books of LTFC for a few years. Martin Reilly played a couple of games for us then played GAA for Cavan. John Rogers of Roscommon also played for Town, I don't know if he was mentioned already. Also some Quinn fella who's from Longford plays for Bohs and is also on the Longford county minors.
Michael Quinn, County Minor alright and plays for Bohs. Did hear he had got a trial somewhere in England recently. Must find out more. Great player at both sports
