Yea but looking back at any of the first few series of any show they look terrible south park, simpsons, family guy . Still rate family guy as one of the best shows on TV think american dad is better at the moment.
Still no Harry hill though ;) ( as for whos line is it , crystal maze Q leap dont get me started .....shocking viewing)
I reckon there is about 10 shows max on now that are worth watching and most of them are repeats
Curb
Mighty Boosh
American dad
Family guy
South park
Dark places
Arrested Development
Then you have older shows
Office
Fawtly towers
simpsons
etc
that are good but have been watched over and over .
There is prob one or two more that ive forgotten
TV is so cluttered up with rubbish reality shows and then truely terrible rubbish like lost and prison break or the Unit the new terminator.
I basically Watch seinfield at 7 30 eating the dinner and thats it for tv ive given up on it.
I think its his ability to take the abuse off the others that I love.
Havent seen the american one myself but heard it is good.
Josie Lawenece was brillant on that show especially the music role plays.
Ive been temping evenings recently and finding myself watching a lot of re-runs of Family Fortunes on Challenge TV. I loved it as a kid and it's still great to watch now. The remade version with Vernon Kay is bloody awful though. Bullseye was great too.
Ladette to Lady
I think there's entertainment value in it but friends and family think I'm a waster for watching such tripe.
Ive ended up watcing a lot of Deal Or No Deal recently. Sad?
Harry Hill's TV Burp
Spongebob
Drake and Josh
Masterchef all the way for me. I enjoy it so much these days that I mke sure to set the reminder on the digital so I don't miss it! :o
Don't know how anyone would consider Who's Line to be a guilty pleasure, its absolutely class. Although wouldn't bother watching if Colin and Ryan weren't on it... (the fat american guy is by far the worst of the lot of them, excruciatingly unfunny....)
Have to say I have rather shamefully become addicted to "A shot at love with Tila Tequila". Its great car crash tv with more fights than on a Gerry Springer show. Roll on the start of the season when my mind will become absorbed with the footie and forget to watch ****e like that!
Johnny Bravo:cool: and Spongebob:o. Watch a bit of Dr. Phil as it be's on in the mornings when I wake up...in my defence, I only have 2 channels on bedroom tv:D
Can I count 'Two and a Half Men' on guilty pleasures? It can be quite funny at times.
Speaking of which, there's an advert going around promoting new series of Two and A Half Men on Paramount Comedy Channel with a guy crossing the Atlantic with an Irish voiceover saying 'Bill Magee (or something) was the biggest thing to cross the Atlantic. Till now'. the voice is familiar, racking my brains to think who it is....
Anyone know if desperate housewives id repeated on RTE?
They are a mile behind on Channel 4
Yup it is sad, I've watched it a few times myself and it annoys me how stupid the contestants are and how to they act like its very skillful tactical game when in reality its a very simple game, all you gotta do is add up all the amounts in each box and divide by the number of boxes and if the banker offers you less than this average amount then its a bad deal, funny thing is they often end up settling for less than half the average amount
Shipwrecked is kinda car crash tv. The show consists of plummy voiced toffs with stupid haircuts and brain dead girls.
Skins anyone? Absolutely love this myself, started watching it online and I'm just at the beginning of series 2 now.
Only just got into Skins, and typical, as soon as I get into it, all the characters are going. Great show though, going to catch up with all of it on DVD.
at the moment im watching Its Always Sunny In Philly, Ugly Betty(:o), Dirty Sexy Money, Burn Notice, Monk, Psych, Aliens In America, CSI, The Colbert Report, The daily show with Jon Stewart & that new show that started on Virgin1 last week, Chuck...all my mates say im mad with the shows i watch...i would throw desparate houswives in there but that ended when Gabrielle decided to stop cheating on her man and settle down to start a family...lol
my TV time is full, i cant fit anything else in...thank god Sky+ was invented!:D
My tv guilty pleasure is Road Wars (and Street Wars) :o
e4 from the hours of 5 to 7 repeats of scrubs and friends can quote them all verbatim at this stage but i still am compelled to watch them
I have watched every episode of The Two Coreys.. Great stuff. 80's revisited..
Saved By The Bell anyone? Used to love that show and still kinda enjoy the re-runs sometimes. Every kid wanted to be smart arse Zac and his scams. And Kelly was hot!
Street wars or street crime uk,and as inexile said E4 5-7 weekdays friends and scrubs
My new one is Come Dine with Me on channel 4.
Like the bitchy participants & sarcastic voice overs.
Deadliest Catch has been usurped by Ice Road Truckers.
I thinks its because I've a boring office job....
