I'm sure he's happy with his money now but if Ramblers cement a premier place(good luck) he could easily end up there.

Good point. If he doesn't produce the goods for City next season then I doubt they'll offer him another contract on the money he is on. He badly needs a long run of games to dispell anyone's fears that they would be wasting money on an injury prone striker.
i agree we're not very strong in premier terms and that we need to strenghten the team/squad. but i also dont think that taking city's scraps will do us either as citys first team arnt the strongest this year so where does that leave the players that are left go, with arkagas cost cutting and the rest.
well we cant be heapin deadwodd on, we got rid of it last year and look what happened, hendo wil have to play it cute one or two big signins (not top of league big) but quality ones, one or two full timers id say is a must, our aim should be a full time club in say 5-7 years, if possible, that should be any part time clubs plan, i do honestly think we wont be as bad as some people think, we should be gettin draws at home to big teams and beat the smaller teams at home, then draw agianst smaller teams away, home form is vital, cant wait to see transfer activity though see who we get,
next year will be a big year, it will tell a lot, definately
Heard John O'Flynn doesnt want to sign for city, heard it from good source too. Dont think he'll sign for us either though. On his day hes untouchable IMo, unfortunatly very few days are his, he needs to get proper specialist treatment even if he misses a hole season it will benefit him in the long run, cant carrry on like this. One of the best players i ever playing in the EL.
i do not want to se JOF at ramblers, he always thought he was better than ramblers (remember when city knocked us out of the cup two years ago, he was on a 3 months injury, and made a miraculus recovery to captain the side and when he scored the winner he came off injured and was out for 3 months), dont see how that changes, plus he wouldnt take a step down to semi-pro, as he wouldnt be in any full time list id draw up,
Waterford look like their heading down. Anybody fancy any of their players comin to Cobh? Maybe John Hayes might make a comeback to St. Colemans he wasn't a bad player when he was here on loan.
3 words/.... the inivisble man.. terrible absoute ****e
me 2... but for the right price
One of the Mulcahy's can't remember which is the good one. There is Alan and David. I think Davids the one who played with Pats.
On the City rejects front, McNulty and McSweeney would imo be suitable for strengthening your first team, GK and RM.
They, along with Sean Kelly are said by Spillane to be unhappy with their contract offers.
Both Lordans in contract limbo aswell but if Henderson is looking to strengthen without too much disruption I'd go for the first two.
I'd take Cillian Lordan in a heartbeat although i think him and Kieran O'Reilly will have issues after sunday.
McSweeney id take alright hes verygood, we dont need many players, proved that yesterday.
Never liked either o the two lordans, dav destroyed him last year. Careys way better than him, we dont need any defenders or goalkeeper
dave mulcahy is the one who played for pats. great player, with a supurb engine, never gives up! doesnt want to travel far,has his own business in kilkenny to run!
id like o'brien too,hed do a job but would would find it very hard to become regular, at the moment anyway.btw bilko made some great saves yesterday.
Cillian Lordan. I think hes a good player with great potential. He just needs regular 1st team football.
Thats a crack at me I suppose!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D
I agree he made great saves. He looked confident, assured, composed. His kicking was faultless. He looked the part as premier division keeper. As I said hes improving game by game. There were problems midway through the season(with his kicking especially) and credit to the boy he went away and worked on them. Changed his kicking style completely.
Deasy was good too. Had two nervy moments but still looked good.

paranoid
Ray Scully, Robbie Hedderman and Pat Flynn were released by Waterford today. I'm not aware of their talents. Are they any good?
I have heard that Hedderman isn't great, would like to see Andy Myler, Greg O Halloran in but I think Myler would be Dub based and exspensive.
wat about cobhs own jason gleeson.imo prob da best talant da town has right now.
should have been in da team last year but never made step up from 21s for some reason.he would do a great job in midfield
serious lack of interest
what about stevie mahon from the under 17s a few games at least try and get him some experience
jason gleeson has no interest....... id personally love to see him play but thers more chance of me playing.
no harm in trying
i'll pay the cost of the call!!
every little helps lads.
love too see jay gleeson playing hes better than most the team if he wants to be.... but that is the problem
Good squad player lads but he hardly set the u-21s on fire and he was a good few years over age its not like he is 18 and jumped up to play u-21 he was battle hardy after a few years AUL with springfield and as for barrett he was hardly a pub team player he played msl for the wanderers who are far from a pub team(and i'm not knocking local lads just putting it in propestive)
