predictions for sat night, im going with 3-0 win
Kramer you have a good point in relation to Inside Cobh. They have been very good to the club and were there again last Thursday when we launched the Show Racism the Red Card event on board the LE Roisin. The problem is budget, basically I have worked this season with no budget which is kinda restrictive, all the road signs are sponsored, posters I do myself but so what we have 3 home games left, I will have 6-8 schools covered this week alone so hopefully there will be a good return, also 96fm are coming on board in some promotional way, will know at end of week. Now if any of you guys would be interested in sending in a report to Inside Cobh that would be great, they go to print on Sunday so deadlines are tight. If Don Ramo or a another would be interested in doing an article for the programme on the season so far that would also be excellant. But the main thing is this Saturday, we need to get behind the lads, they have been a credit to the club all season both on and off the pitch. We need plenty of noise and of course arses on seats. Extra road signs are out 2moro with 50 match posters also being put up. Well done lads.
Will go for 4 nil..they werent up to much last time..prob one of the best games we played this season.football was superb.
I am very suprised to hear their supporters have booked the commodore out..they havent got much of a following TBH
2-1 win. Luka is right, will be tighter then we think. Ill settle for this anyway.
Ya at station road they didnt have the numbers to fill the com.
Fancy rams 4-0 Davin,dub, mikey,Carey.
Lads I'd like to share your optimism but Kildare have been going well of late, they beat Limerick 3-0 last week (which I believe could have been 6) so this will be no walk in the park, we thought Wexford would be straight forward too.
I'll take the three points on Saturday, that's all that matters. At least Kildare will come out and attack us and that might suit us. It is up to all fans of all things claret and blue to roar the team on, three points is all that matters.
This is a BIG test of character on Saturday. Sometimes when a team's long unbeaten run comes to an end they can kinda go off the rails, sometimes they get straight back into it.
What way Ramblers will go will depend on how much their confidence has been knocked after the Harps game. They need to get the bit between their teeth and get scrapping even if it means winning ugly. It's a dogfight now so as long as it's 3 points that's the main thing.
It'll be very interesting to see the how the big characters of the team react and how they get their team-mates reacting also.
Performances go out the window at this stage and it's about getting the job done.
Dont think their confidence will be dented at all. From what i hear Rams could have been 2 up at half time and played well.
With the characters we have in the team dont think there will be any let up in the remaining games.Remember we were short 3 of our best players on Fri night also.
i would take any win to be honest, i think we can win. 2 nil i predict. kildare are a handy side, i was up in station road earlier this year and kildare could have got a draw, they seem to lack a bit of luck. last week their luck seemed to come round. i think this ramblers side are made of stern stuff, last weeks result wont bother them anymore, as hendo said, they knew the record would go sometime, at least now they arent thinking its the next game.
Lads Im trying to get some large flags for the Dundalk game, I need about 250euro, the flags would be under the watchfull eye of the Supporters Club, anyone interested in donating say a fiver each. What do u think.
set up a table at the kildare match or send around a bucket. whatever way u do it u have a fiver from me.
sure ill throw in a tener, how many will ya get for that, should hang a few down by the open section at the bottom of the new stand, cover the gapping height
Get one big flag and a few smaller ones would be best and i'll try match the dons tenner.
youd want three or four big ones say 6X12 foot just in case one gets damaged, (a tricolour, a half and half clarlet and blue X2, and maybe one cquered clarlet and blue,) then a few smaller ones about 20 id possible, say 3X6 foot, how much would it cost,
Start a new thread called 'Flag Donations' or something and I'd say you might get a better response. Get the Club to give you 100 towards it and I'll match that.
great man Luka!!!!!! in fairness being a student i couldnt match ya!!!!! but im willing to put 20 or 30 in... just have to go without food for a night or two after being on the ****
I have a couple of almost new tri-colours you're welcome to if you want them. They are 6x3 each
not being nasty but **** the tri colours i dont see ireland fans waving rams flags at their games.. everyone in ireland knows we are from ireland so lets just stick to claret and blue flags....
ya but its ****.... u cant read writing on a 6 x 3 flg at a glance from 50 yards but u cant instantly recognise the claret and blue.. we should get on to galway i think i remember them having huge flags for the scumderland game.....
I recon it's gonna be tight on Saturday night, gonna miss the game myself:o
Kildare are putting in some very good performances the past 6 weeks or so but they are having some horrors too.
Still think once we get an early goal we will kill them.........2-0 ..hopefully.
throw me down for €20 Marco for the flags, as I said I wan't make this game as I'll be in croker instead but I will give it to you at the Dundalk game if that will suit? otherwise PM me ur address and I'll pop it through the letterbox.....
fiver from me too no prob, put out acollection at game :D
lads theres no drum either belonged to the club anymore it was broken during the wexford youths game ... ill throw 10 or 15 towards a collection anyway ...
Sorry didnt see apology. I t takes a big man all right, fair duce
