It's a month since Drogheda last won a game!:eek:
We played shi t and still won. We are only thinking about the future and maintaining our unbeaten run. We've two cups to try and win, and chase onto your tails in the league. We were without some key attacking players tonight and it showed. We had to play two central midfielders out in the wings. Happy to take the points and finally get a change of luck this season. Next season, with Robbo at the helm we'll be up there challenging again.Quote:

pete's point was (I think) that the standard of league this season is poor. This Drogheda team would not be top of the league last season or the season before. We had the better of the first half,Mooney took his chance again. Sligo had the better of the second half without troubling Shay Kelly much apart from the goal!. Overall a draw was about right I felt. Sligo were good second half though. Couldn't get a good view of the disallowed goal but we had two disallowed against Shamrock Rovers, at least one of which was onside.Quote:

Despite Molan being played in midfield for most of the seaon, his best position is left-back. Even so thats still 2 mids and an U21 filling in at the back. That must be the end of any chance we had of the playoffs, but I'll be happy enough when we beat Cobh next week :DQuote:
