Ya and we played well, deserved the 3 points IMO. Your post that we played 8 behind the ball was crap. If we were woeful then what the hell were Pat's, abysmal? You were beat end of, title challenge is over take yer oil!;)

Must be the first time Drogs have lost a lead?
9/1 for draw double @ the RSC & Terryland. Always bet on the eL draws :D
Well it was actually 9 but im being pedantic and counting your keeper, you never looked like scoring cos your **** and we never looked like scoring cos we overplayed it.
So well done a free 1-0 win, thankfully i can say we played well and should be chasing 2nd next week, sadly your gonna be watching that and thinking of Gothenburg.....what happened????

It's a month since Drogheda last won a game!
We played shi t and still won. We are only thinking about the future and maintaining our unbeaten run. We've two cups to try and win, and chase onto your tails in the league. We were without some key attacking players tonight and it showed. We had to play two central midfielders out in the wings. Happy to take the points and finally get a change of luck this season. Next season, with Robbo at the helm we'll be up there challenging again.
You played **** because you are ****, that was an abomination of a performance by Derry you sat back at home with 8 men behind the ball and played on the break AT HOME!!!! A far cry from how better you were than us this time last season, seems your the ones hanging on to past glories and hoping for results.
Im used to **** teams doing that and beating us, you join the ranks of galway and Waterford, longford at least earned it and beat us on the pitch. Dont get too happy about it judging by that style you play its a one off.

You took that defeat badly!!! :D Again, you keep referring to Derry's past. Again I'll refer you to the fact that we are all looking to our future under Robbo. Last season was last season. Pats are almost 100% improved and the league table doesn't lie. A far cry indeed. However, right us off at your peril, we have the ability to shake things up still.
Of course it's a one off, we played **** and won - we can't play brilliant all the time.;) It's a pity we didn't roll over and let you have the three points. We won, take your oil. It's 3 miserable points for us in a miserable bloody season. Your lot could've played all night and never scored. You did nothing to deserve a win and as I said a bit of luck went our way for a change. You weren't moaning when you won 1-0 at the start of the season with a dour defensive **** performance at the Brandywell. I'm only disappointed that Gibson scored the OG - wish it had been that ballroot Rogers.
pete's point was (I think) that the standard of league this season is poor. This Drogheda team would not be top of the league last season or the season before. Their main rivals are not teams that would usually be capable of challenging for the title (newly promoted side and a team managed by Johnny Mc).
Pats fans :p Wise up
what is it still a little touchy from being left empty handed last year?
And i hope Bohs knock ye outta the Cup to, ya crying *******s
we were the better side tonight i thought, had a goal dissalowed for offside, the player was a good 2 yards onside though. thats football i guess
City didn't get into gear tonight at all....we didn't need to :p
Bohs, Rovers and Cork at home in the run in.....look behind ye lads :)
We had the better of the first half,Mooney took his chance again. Sligo had the better of the second half without troubling Shay Kelly much apart from the goal!. Overall a draw was about right I felt. Sligo were good second half though. Couldn't get a good view of the disallowed goal but we had two disallowed against Shamrock Rovers, at least one of which was onside.
First 20 mins, Rovers probably just shaded, then we were the better team for the rest of the half. Rovers then came out in the 2nd half and dominated until ye scored, goal was defiantely coming. Rest of the game was even enough, us with probably the better chances to win it. Draw probably fair though.
Dundalk 3 down. Enjoy the first division next year
Despite Molan being played in midfield for most of the seaon, his best position is left-back. Even so thats still 2 mids and an U21 filling in at the back. That must be the end of any chance we had of the playoffs, but I'll be happy enough when we beat Cobh next week :D
Kildare 3-1 Dundalk
Cobh Ramblers 2-0 Athlone that's 25 unbeaten for the season so far.
