This weekend will give us a good picture of who'll finish where at the top.
See you in Limerick for the play-off :D

To be honest, Drogheda haven't impressed me a whole lot this season but they're obviously top of the league for a reason, and you'd have to think they can only win it or bottle it from here. Cork probably impressed me more than Drogheda, but I can only be cautious hyping up a team who have lost 4-1 in Sligo, O'Donovan or no O'Donovan.

Haven't been too impressed with Drogs to be honest but Pat's are too unpredictable losing to the likes of Galway and Waterford already. Bray have a good side and should be better (just about) than the other teams down there. Derry will also improve but poor Longford they are fecked and they will probably not return to the top flight for some time. Survival of the fittest and all that.
To be fair, when any of the contenders play the cack teams, Drogheda are the only ones, you'd be 95% confident in not ****ing up.
We have had a feckin nightmare with injuries and are still at the top of the leauge .If we can get some of the injured back then we should go on and win it .Rumours going round hell ( UCD ) on earth on friday night was that Jason gavin and Fabio are due to return much sooner that expected , and if we can get Richie Baker and Ollie Cahil playing we will have a strong squad for the run in :)
Wouldnt totally agree with you there Risteard, they got away with it bigtime against an awful UCD team. Couple this with dropped points at home to Longford etc. and the Drogs are not very well equipped. So much depends on Fabio coming back its scary. Sami is doing brilliantly at the minute (he's by far the best footballer at the club) but he cant do it alone.
I wonder about the people on this MB that keep saying its Drogs league to lose. I seriously hope none of them have seen them play or they wouldn't say that. Very limited team under Doolin and its only the fact that the league is a poor standard this season that its close up there.
As for the big names coming back - its only Fabio and Gavin that'll make that much difference.

9. Galway
10. Bray
11. Waterford
12. Longford
Can't see Drogs losing it due to fact they've done so well even with all the injuries. Bohs to sneak 2nd from Cork. Pats to slide down to 4th. Rovers done well so far but don't have the squad. Derry & Sligo inconsistent so have them finishing 6 and 7. UCD solid, Galway can't win at home. Waterford are very poor and Longford are dead and buried.
1. Pats
2. Rovers
3. Drogs
4. Derry
5 Cork
6. Bohs
7. UCD
8. Sligo
9. Galway
10. Bray
11. Waterford
12. Longford
Pats have by a mile the best 15 players and I think they have the spine and the good buzz around the club with Kelleher at the moment to go all the way.
We are being wildly underestimated by the usual mongs, this team win will leagues but not this year. All our losses came from naive play, which is behind us. Cant see us losing more than 2 or 3 more games. Entertains me no end that we will fade, seeing as we are the fittest team in the league.
Drogs will choke as their manager fails to control his squad.
Derry will improve under the new regieme. Cork to remain a selling club and plod along. Connor to be found out and the usual nonsense of harassing the manager to begin in D7. The culture of mediocrity to continue
The rest is just the rest.
Its Drogs to throw away this year IMO. No one in the league can compete with their squad despite injuries and I really think its Doolins to mess up.
Im starting to get excited by us but were still very unpredictable. If we keep Roy I think we can make second.

edit: Apologies this is micls not Gavinzac
I know it's probably black and red tinted glasses but I really do think Bohs can do it this year. actually I fancy a treble ..............Defo black-n-red glasses
If you can't score on us you cant beat us and we're just not leaking goals
Its good to see the variety in predictions.
A bit of a change from recent years.
Is micls Missus Zac?
Anyone who thinks Shels will finish tenth needs their heads examined... Keely's made some very good signings and they'll shoot up the table... if they had the team they have now at the start of the season they'd be challenging for promotion.
Ah well, another season of punishment won't do them any harm... :D
Wrong, BillyG! Eddie Gormley is making a difference at Bray. You can see it in their style of play, and the fact that a couple of "donkeys" are being moved on and some quality players being brought in. I predict Bray will be in or on the verge of top 6 by the end of season! :p
It's a known fact: You can't win the league when you get Ridden Rock Solid.......
1. Drogs - grrrr
2. Bohs

which is exactly my point. Those positions 6 - 9 dont really matter is big scheme of things. Top 5 hoping for europe, bottom 3 hoping not to be relegated.....6 - 9 in no really matter places. And as for God (Gormely) making a difference you are telling a Pats fan...i know all about him making a difference :)
Footie romance, brilliant.
Premier Division predictions are easy. Between Shamrock and Bohemian for 4th
1. United (that 7/1 looks good now, got on at 5s myself:) )

6. Shamrock Rovers
7. Sligo
8. UCD
9. Galway
10. Bray
11. Waterford
12. Longford
I see we're 6th again. Even hapless Derry are expected to surge past us.
We will finish minimum 4th, and probably above it. And of the top 5 now, 4 of them play each other on the last day, while we're at home to Waterford. :D We are in a very strong position at the moment, and I expect us to push on from here. With our strong home form, (1 defeat in last 26 matches) we'll be there or thereabouts come November 9th.
