I'm thinking of the Cage one where he keeps going on about his fcuking Snakeskin coat. Possibly had Laura Dern in it.
You're right of course about the worlds most expensive Jack Nicholson impersonator Christian Slater in True Romance.
How could I forget the pert nubile young Patricia Arquette in that? How'd it end by way? I dragged myself clean out of the room and only realised much later when I woke up on the back lawn.:D
Had the misfortune to watch Final Descent last night waste of a few hours:mad: (no wonder I never heard of it!). Also there is usualy a p1ss film on flights to the US, well the past few flights they have been poor.
Rancid now there is another poor show no wonder Extravison are selling it for €2.50 (they give you the money to take it!)
there is a lot of crap out there we need to make a check list so people can avoid wasting there time
1. If it star's Nic Cage put it back on the shelf .
2.If a black man is dressing as a fat woman (nutty proffesor big momma's house ) put it back .
3. Directed by Micheal Mann
feel free to add
Not into Spielberg bashing but I remembered watching AI in America on its opening night and my wife and I were the only two people left in the cinema with 20mins of the film to go. I still had to finish my large cola and popcorn though. I never seen so many people get worked up about a film afterwards.
Superman was rubbish to
Ploto Nash
Especially Con-Air.
I love that film. Buscemi is great in that.
Even though it's from the early 80's I have to mention Gorky Park as I just saw it recently. For some reason I had it in my head it was supposed to be a pretty decent movie. Utter tripe.
Didn't have the pleasure of seeing all of these.
Godzilla (1998)
Hudson Hawk
Jaws 4 - The Revenge - .........(Featured a stalking Shark)
Look Whose Talking Now
Batman and Robin
There's too many to chose from. For me though it has to be all those crappy comdey by numbers films staring Will Ferrell or Owen Wilson - what a load of tripe they are.
Smokin Aces if horrific.
Matrix 2 & 3
Worst film I ever had the displeasure of seeing in the cinema was 'Dude, where's my car?'. 'Fortress' with Christopher Lambert is bad film I enjoy watching for some reason.
Oceans Twelve was terrible.
I saw some film today on sky family or something...about an island and there were these "giant ants" and carmen electra was in it? Well anyway, it has got to be the worst made film i have ever seen.
Epic movie is also crap
Few of us went to see Syriana there last year. Was fairly glad when yer man beside me asked me what had been happening for the past half hour, cos I was hoping I wasn't the only one completely lost. Ends with the revelation that someone is Canadian just before he's blown up. I want those two and a half hours back.
In fairness, Nicholas Cage is a very good actor.
The Village should be omitted, if only for the stabbing scene.
I hate films that think their good but are really manipulative patronising ****e like In America and A time to kill.Oh yeh and The English Patient.Anybody ever see Seinfeld episode devoted to taking the p*** out of it
BTW Raising Arizona is amazing.
Have to agree there , it was on RTE last night and I kept timimg it to tune in when I thought this scene was coming on. It is brilliantly done.
Its pretty similiar to M Night Sayalman's (sp/) other movie Signs , where the Alien is caught on camera during the kids party. Class scene.
Damn it, it was actually Signs I wanted to nominate!
Village is poor too though
Ocean's 12
Millions - Danny Boyle kids movie
Lionel - I loved Bad Boys!!!!
