Took these up in Terryland this evening, Floodlights are down, I think they have mainly been working under the stand this week.

ah its looking the bizz without the lights!
I Presume they is a possibility of advertising on the top of the stand? All we need now is a scoreboard to complete the renovations!
What about the match on Friday night if there are no lights on that side of the ground?? If it's a murky evening, it will be pretty dark during the second half of the game.
It is bright until 10.30. The game will be over at 9.35.
The game is being played a week before the longest day
in the year.
So I know they were taking down the two middle floodlights but do we still have the two outer ones still up ?
No Claret they were all take down. Probably for access but i think the two corer ones will be re erected later as they dont affect the view AFAIK.
will that not look strange?
I know for a fact that Galway have been on to Harps this morning looking for the game to kick-off at 7.15pm. Imagine asking a club and their supporters who have to travel 150 miles that they want to change the kick-off time just nine hours before the scheduled kick-off time. Once I heard the floodlights were down I was worried about the 7.45pm kick-off time - especially if it was an overcast day. It seems that Galway have only thought about it at the last minute. Bad, Bad Preparation on the part of Mr. Leeson and all at Galway.
It's on the other forum that K.O has been changed to 7.15 not sure if it's true.
I wouldn't get up your high horse too much, I remember games being called off at very short notice in the past because your pitch had turned into a swimming pool.
I remember that day very well, twas a glorious wednesday in Galway but Finn Harps were swimming in Ballybofey, nearly twenty heads drinking in a tavern in the West as we had all taken the day off work for the game, England v Chile in a friendly at Wembley the 10 remaining drinkers put £100 on Chile to win at 9/1!!!! Go on Salas.....we then drank most of the winnings! Great night !:D

i think its due to be left on the one level
2 Questions
1 i thought there was dressing rooms and shops going into that stand . Sure they will hardly be ready fro the opening
2 Just wondering will the TV game V Sunderland show the new stand or the old??
I dont think the rooms under the stand will be ready . a new tv gantry will be placed on top of the old stand so the camera will be facing the new stand.
just took a peek in earlier and seen that the seats are now in place in the new stand, looks great:).
I wanna see! Anyone passin by in next few days could they take a quick snap?
Actually, sure i'll see it on friday anyway.
