Whatever about them sacking him, surely they will have to pay him to keep him soon? I cannot believe this. I never believed all the paper talk that his job was on the line. How can you get a club promoted, sit middle of the table in your first season back up, draw with the league champions, beat Arsenal at the Emirates, hockey Villa and Sunderland and still get the sack? Pathetic treatment of a guy who has been a good servant there for a while, and whose performance as manager this year would have exceeded any reasonable expectation. The problem is that Necastle are certainly not a club with reasonable expectations, with an owner who is a total idiot.
