can't see what would attract him to Sligo either. Is it just me or does McDonald seem to lack corisma? I dont think he would capture a possible players attention when persuading someone to come and play football in Sligo.

hey guys im new here...the reason i became a member is because a family friend is part of the team now (the new goalkeeper, Tomislav Arcaba), so i guess Sligo Rovers have a new fan and all the way from OZ...cheers

hes pretty good...but then again i havnt seen the level of football they play in ireland so i cant compare.

I’ve heard Tomislav is friendly with Adam Hughes, are you familiar with Adams play? He was well within his comfort zone at this level last season. I know it’s a silly kind of comparison, But its something.

Tommy dosnt have your tipical OZ accent..but it still would be more OZ then say American or British. Ohh and i think he will get along with the Bosnian midfielder just fine, because i myself have a few Bosnian friends and its not a big problem here, so i dont see why it should be in Ireland

all i can say guys is that things better start happening quick, i'm sure theres plenty of un tapped talent out there whether at home or abroad but right now we need to get some players in there soon cos right now its begining to look mediocre

heard a rumour O'halloran didn't sign because an ex-rovers player told him not to, appartenly they were going to unveil him on Tuesday night at the AGM, it had been all-sorted, is there any truth in this,

Agreed as i said before it's only a rumour, like when Horsfield was coming to Sligo, seriously though i'm really getting worried at this stage, Bray look like they have a better squad than us at this stage( no offense to bray fans) I'll reserve judgement until after 10 league games

Rovers fourth signing looks likely to be the Polish winger Biotar Bobic who came on as sub on Saturday according to the Weekender. The other Pole, the centre half will not be signing.
