any matches off as a result of Oscar Traynor this weekend, clubs are allowed if the have players on it...................
pike are still playing hillceltic with 5players on the ot panel shows some respect
for any of the teams that have ot players playing at the weekend to go ahead with there matches might not be a bad idea, trophies are usually won with panels and not the same eleven week in and week out, nice to involve other players.
Good to see the childish comments are back... "People in glasshouses" comes to mind...How many of the league winners last year came "through the ranks"
pls contribute something constructive about the thread and not some petty sacastic crap
I would have thought that B.Culhane,A.fitz, A.carrol & D.Hanley might be in the squad..

Carew Park v Aisling is off. It means that Aisling have to play Pike next week not having a game in 3 weeks!!
is anyone here able to post what matches are going ahead and which are not??
Could have players in ot team Jock!!Maybe thats why its off!!
i thought that as well but they knew that couple of weeks ago, just little annoyed that there wasn't earlier notice than 3-4 days we could have been told it a lot sooner thats all summervilleman.
was able to get friendly arranged to cover this weekend so hasn't been to bad:)
Hi Jock
I can understand your frustration but the problem was the OT not the opposition. Players were in the squad announced during the week and in an effort to allow the games to go ahead teams who had players in the squad were given the option of playing their MJC but some decided not to.
ya heard star knocked boro out on penaltys delighted those cocky boro lads will be hiding in doors tonite they could have got the match off but thought they only had to turn up well done o hanlon:) :) :)
I think Alan Barry only came on as a sub for the OT team on Sat night, but not 100% sure.
Star were 1-0 up after 20mins through a Hannon peno,
Alan Barry levelled with a tame free kick that slipped through our (3rd choice) keepers hands on 40mins,
Star went 2-1 up just before the break with a Darren Walsh header from a corner.
Boro levelled again (Alan Carroll) with 20mins to go, when just after that and still at 2-2 Shane O'Loughlan was sent off for Star for two yellow cards.
And then the Boro went 3-2 up (Ronan Sherlock) with 10mins to go,
But 10 man Star pulled level again with a John Barry volley with 2mins to go.
Extra time stayed 3-3 and Star won 5-4 on penos.
Star now play the winners of Balla "A" or Holycross away in the next round.
Also
Star were missing a host of first team players due to different reasons, so it was a great result.
any other scores from the limerick section ?
what do you mean
