Holy fcuk - am I still drunk from Stuttgart, or did Waterford win a game....?
Its an illuuuuusioooooooonnnn....
The game totally changed to a fcuking horrendous refing decision, but that shouldn't surprise us after the season we've had ! 47th minute, Fox clears the ball in his own box, Shels player blocks it and it goes out for a goal kick, but instead the ref gives corner...... absolutely fcuking shocking decision ! Shels goal...... totally changed the games and the way we had been playing. 1st half was an excellent display from Bray, Shels had more of the ball but Bray soaked up everything very comfortably and hit Shels on the counter twice with 2 good goals, hit the bar as well just before that. Shels 2nd goal was yet again our own fault, very poor defending and as for the 3rd goal ! worst strike of a ball ever from Crowe, total miss kick and dribbled over the line, our keeper was shocking for it !
Greg O'Halloran was very lucky to stay on the pitch for his stamp on Franco, right under the nose of the lino ! actually thinking of it he was fcuking blessed !
Thought we fully deserved something from the match but I think were all getting used to matches like that at this stage of the season with Bray.
was very dissapointed with the few Shels fans who went onto the pitch at the end and the one who threw the flair onto the pitch at full time.
Notice you didn't comment on the time wasting after 40 minutes part of my post
Cork 0-0 Pats
Cork are flirting with midtable mediocrety.:o Welcome to our world boys.;)
Cork draw level with UCD and Longford for most 0-0s this season - 6. Also behind UCD and Longford in terms of goals per game (for either team) - 25 goals in 18 matches.
Where have all the goals gone?
Next two games in Belfield are v Pat's (guaranteed 0-0) and Cork (0-0?) Probably be thrillers now!
Include goals against, as SM pointed out.
We're still six ahead of them without that defeat. :)
Great result for us. Couple that with the result yesterday and I still think we're in the strongest position to win the league. We've 2 games before Derry play again. If we get 6 points then we'll be 7 clear of Derry albeit with Derry having 3 games in hand.
Cork drawing is a good result for us too. It means they're not breaking away from us too much. Still even on points with them:). Cork have the advantage though with 2 games in hand. Our match with them next week should be interesting to say the least;)
We played some lovely football last night but bad finishing coupled with awful officials yet again meant we had to settle for 0-0.
We'll bounce back.
See HERE for the goals.
Benitez must have missed Rovers V Bohs at Santry in January 2001.
i think about 3 weeks ago we were playing for 5th/6th
now we have to go for 3rd/4th
i guess the 8 days in which we play bohs cork and derry will have a big say in where we finish....funny hearing pat scully and osam talking about the top 4 being head and shoulders above the rest when we are level with cork and close to drogs
