Someone on our forum saying its too late for any Italian team to take the place of milan if they are thrown out(cos Italy have chosen their teams to submit).
Any idea if this is true?
And leading on from this even if Red Star beat to go into the groups would we get the losers third round uefa spot?? Very confusing

No seriously though, Milan are provisionally in the draw and a decision will be made by Uefa as to whether or not they can be Italy's fourth representative in the CL. If not, they will be replaced by the next Italian team in line - not sure who that is.

I'm confident that UEFA have a rule that the representatives for each country have to be notified to them by a certain (past) date - so no one could take their place if they are banned.:DQuote:

Two of the 'easiest' possible draws - Both Derry & Drogs will feel they have a chance of advancing FURTHER

definitely a good chance for both clubs to progress. Drogheda have nothing to be afraid of in their tie, so I think they should at the very least contribute something to the coefficient.
Gretna are a bit of an unknown quantity but it'll be very interesting to compare a lower half of the table Scottish outfit to a good EL side. Gretna will be in pre-season, first game in Europe, definitely there for the taking. Best of luck to both teams

Gretna !!! Never heard of them so must be good news !! What a fantastic draw !! Our co-efficent will go up to 2 hopefully ! Something i thought was impossible.
The EL is really motoring now and the league hasnt even completed all its reforms. I would love to see where we are in 3 seasons time.

Gretna are in the Scottish First Division. They got into the UEFA cup as they lost in the cup final to Hearts - who secured European qualification via the league - meaning Gretna were awarded the UEFA Cup spot.
