Is there any chance at all of O'Callaghan returning tomorrow night?
No chance.Quote:

That 2.12 on betfair looks a great price now...
Any idea what Rico is going to do? Softic? Bennett pushed into midfield? Billy Woods in the centre? Fenn in midfield?
O'Brien is not suspended.Quote:

Softic is like a direct replacement for O'Callaghan - he even looks like him only not so skinny.
They have been ridden to fcuk
Apologies lads - it said that O'Brien was suspended on eleven-a-side.com.
Both lads have said they didnt strike anyone but did push people away in self defence. I believe them over a ref who was in a terrible position to see anything( stood back from the scrap for some reason) and didnt bother telling anyone about the sendings off.Quote:

Not only has any profit from the European adventure been taken away but City now have absolutely no chance in this tie.
Disgrace.
City still have a chance ffs - if Devine, O'Flynn (if available), Fenn, Bennet and O'Donovan perform to their potential City can definitly get something from the first leg
NONE of you know what happened and EVERY ONE of you think its a disgrace. What player ever, particularly scumbags like Murphy, don't plead innocent. Get a grip lads
I presume the missle throwing with be discussed by Uefa at a later date.
I think City currently due to make 360k in CL prize money even if knocked out in this round. 100k per round plus 160k if not make the group stages.
I'm sure the Sunday Times will be reporting on these positive developments next weekend.Quote:

I have to say even though I'm a Ramblers fan I'm gutted for Cork City, once again they come down heavy on a smaller club, I wonder if this had happened to one of the big European club sides like Barca, Bayern or whoever what would the punishment have been, f*** all if any.
UEFA have a history of coming down heavy on the smaller clubs yet conveniently ignore the indiscretions of bigger clubs. The whole thing stinks.
Bunch of corrupt blazer types.
Examples please.Quote:

Any word on O'Flynn? How did he get through last night's training I wonder?
im starting to think cork can get something from this....before they get hammered out of sight back in red star city
That Danny Murphy seems like a total *******. don't know how many times he's been sent off now, but its quite a few. What is it about the " Oi, I'm from Laaandan mate" hard man swagger he always seems to portray. Idiot.
Pity, cos he's a decent enough player, but my God, what an ******* !!
I think O'Flynn may start which would be a huge boost as he offers makes some great runs & extra pace will be valuable.
bit about red star's preseason shape from bigsoccerforums
Zigic is tall - jan koller type - was at the world cup, probably not a bad shout for first scorer. Plenty of Premiership scouts will be in cork with a view to signing him. Liberec dispatched rovers easily enough in the toto a few years ago so beating them 3-0 in a friendly is a decent signQuote:
Red Star have beaten yesterday, in most serious friendly so far, posiible oponent in third round of qualifications - Czech champion Slovan Liberec 3-0. Zigic scored twice, and Milovanovic once.
Bajevic is trying new things in formation and rotation of players...Basta was in midfield, Pantic replaced him at right back, Tutoric and Joksimovic were cetral defenders(LOL), and Perovic was left back....New Brazilian Tadeu was left wing, Bulgarian Georgijev right wing, Jankovic wasn't in first 11...
I watched what happened. Danny Murphy was ran at by their whole bench....the ref was in no position to see anything and neither was the linesman. If you listen to the interviews with Gamble in particular you would believe it too. He was furious and saying all he did was try to break it up. I believe him cos iv seen him do it before.Quote:

The team will either be:
Devine

Roy Colin Adi/Lordan McCarthy
Fenn Flynny
or Devine
Horgan Dan Bennett Billy
Roy Colin Fenn Adi
Behan Flynny
Zigic is 6'8 and apparently the tallest pro footballer. Arsenal and Spurs(?) said to be watching him but he will stay with Red Star til after the qualifiersQuote:
